I think Fergie means he will go on loan to a premiership team...Relentless09 wrote:http://m.givemefootball.com/view.aspx?e ... -loan-exit
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed Brazilian defender Fabio will go out on loan next season.
Although he featured in the Red Devils' Champions League final defeat to Barcelona last season, Fabio has failed to progress as expected. A succession of niggling injuries have not helped and, ahead of Sunday's Premier League encounter with Aston Villa, Fabio had made just 15 appearances in all competitions this term.
Ferguson said: "Fabio will go on loan next season to give him concentrated first-team experience," Ferguson told United Review.
Would we go for him ? Would he be accepted by fans ?

Two bits of snippets in today's Sunday People.
Southampton boss Nigel Adkins is ready to snap up giant centre-half Zat Knight on a free transfer from Bolton. (An Alan Nixon story).
Owen Coyle is ready to swoop for top Spanish prospect Jese Rodriguez - if Bolton beat the drop. (We have been linked with before when we signed Moreno and Alonso)

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Twitter is covered in rumours of us signing michael owen, if so would be a great bit of business, a good replacement for klasnic.

I'd be very surprised. Especially before we know what league we're in.

A genuine goalscorer like Owen would have been priceless this season. He may be old, but he'd still get 15 goals a season for a lower level Premier League club.

Could he manage 15 goals in the 3 games that he'd manage to last..?

£110k pw & wouldn't dirty his fingernails by opening a letter from us. Still views himself as a superstar & would simply retire rather than drop to the sort of money we could barely stretch to.SmokinFrazier wrote:A genuine goalscorer like Owen would have been priceless this season.
