Does anybody happen to have a scarf from the Bolton/Madrid Uefa cup game they'd be willing to sell??

Had alot of sentimental value that game and regret to this day not picking one up before the game, willing to swap a number of pounds sterling for one.

(worth a shot  )

aye - I've got one - and I'm not really into scarf/memento collecting... PM me and you can have it as a gift from one fan to another

Having dawdled drunkenly out of Wembley last April as the stallholders were packing up, I got a few Bolton-Stoke scarves. Not sure I threw them all out. Anyone? No one? Oh.

I couldn't just do that to you Bish, but thank you for the sentiment. Name a price and you can just donate to it to the 'get drunk and forget this season ever happened' charity on Sunday! Anyway i'll PM you when i'm not at work, much more civil.

I have a lock of Derek Scott's hair. Treasured throughout the years.

Yours for a tenner.

I have some of the chalk from the Lever End penalty spot from which Super John despatched the promotion clinching penalty against Preston. Seriously.

Quite right too!

I remember I got to the home fixture late because of the traffic and said to my dad whilst passing them scarf stands on the way in 'don't worry they'll be loads floating around afterwards'. Of course Bolton went on to win 1-0, all the scarfs were quickly picked up afterwards and we got no luck.

Still reckon that was one of the most enjoyable matches i've been to, maybe because it was the first my nephew ever attended to boot, and still believe my old man has never forgiven us for getting a memento (he's the sort that still wears his 1995 play off final scarf week in, week out, rain or shine!)

By the way, Jimmy, how long's he had that?
