Welcome to the championship

Post by screech » Sun May 13, 2012 7:09 pm

Phil Gartside, I bet you are still in favour of the Premier League closed shop now aren't you?
Absolute justice you went down, throwing your gobshite mouth off about your elite status, didn't think you'd ever be in a position of actually going down did you, well the reality is you're here now son, I'm sure you'll be contacting Richard Scudamore Monday morning and begging him to scrap promotion from the championship.
Horrible worm of a man.

I have to say that Gartside being shown up as a nonentity who got fat off Allardyce is one of the plusses of relegation.

Please ignore the band-waggon posters who can't wait to jump in and crow. We know they're all ex-Weakest Link contenders that Anne Robinson tied in knots.

Missing link, non?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

No.

But it is true Bates has spent all your transfer money on renovating the East Stand for his corporate buddies and is more bothered about splashing money on a casino bid for the West Stand than giving Warnock the money to give you a chance at promotion. But it's fine i'm sure Danny Pugh and Michael Brown will get you into the premiership just fine

Two words. Billy Paynter. Now run along...

minus ten points and no debt = 128 points E.on Championship victory walkover

the next season after it would be awesome knowing you can pay wages for good uns. without the milestone of paying a stadium off round your neck.

Gartside should never, ever have made such a statement, and it's no wonder fans of lower league clubs are having a quiet chuckle, and understandable too.
Many love the idea of "smaller" clubs, Wigan, Bolton, Swansea, Norwich etc, taking on the big boys (the big boys seem to keep getting bigger, maybe Mr Gartside should have gone for a closed shop of three, Chelsea, Manure and Citeh) but when directors want a "closed shop" it wrangles with those outside, and was always one day going to come back and haunt him.

Sorry for the loyal Bolton fans they are down, not sorry in the slightest for Mr. G.
