I personally think LCY & Mavies will be gone.
We've probably got Holden until Jan.

Mavies maybe, Can't see LCY going till January. Unless we're actually doing something in the leaguethe-Bowtun-Warrior wrote:I personally think LCY & Mavies will be gone.

Time'll tell. Just had a feeling those two games we saw him in may not have done the club any favours in truth; couldn't save us (didn't expect him to) but showed him to have made some recovery and half a chance of worth a punt for someone.
We will see, eh.

I don't think Lee will be here come the close of the summer transfer window.

I don't think either will leave. The club have made it clear. If they were looking to sell we'd have heard a very different line coming out by now.

I don't think we have a choice. A suitable offer and either will be sold. Its nothing new to us.

Also his murmurings to his national press a few days ago don't sound great.

LCY is a very good player. But for 10-12 mil you can have him.
My biggest worry is, and will always be, eventually selling Holden. There's a number of good wingers out there, but there's no one imo that can replicate what Holden does for this side.

We're not in a position to hold out for that. Gut instinct says about £7.5m. Tops.

If Lee goes this summer, it'll be no more than 3 million

We don't have to sell anyone, so unless they come in with a huge offer, I can't see it happening. Look at Huddersfield with Rhodes. They could have sold him ages ago for £1m or £2m but he was worth more to them than that. Chungy is a key player for us and Davies will be great in the Championship. They aren't irreplaceable but they are two players who will have a large influence on whether we go up or not.
Sell all our best players for, say, £20m and we might miss out on a £90m promotion. Keep those players now and if we get promoted, we will be in a strong position. It's a gamble, of course, but it's one we should take. We don't need to be a selling club and our chances of promotion may go out of the window if we get rid of our top talent for a short term profit.

Nobody is going to offer decent money for Lee till they see how he is over a period of games.
Of course a huge offer for any player changes things, but I believe OC, PG when they have repeatedly said we don't want to sell, have no need to, and want to keep this squad together.
We are lucky that we have managed to save so much on the wage bill by releasing players.

We dont have to sell and the key players are under contract.Lee and Holden will need to prove themselves again before anyone will offer enough to make it worth our while. Mavies will be useful at championship level if he stays but I'df be glad to see us sell if someone comes in with 5/6 million. His all round game isnt good enough for him to be a centre mid, his stumpy legs are not long enough to get leverage on a cross so he's no use on the wing and will only cut inside so his only position is behind a striker which means the team has to be set up to accomodate him and I'm just not convinced his talent is good enough to make that feasible.Let the likes of Newcastle have him. 6 mil for a useful impact sub, everyones a winner

The club has shown great organisation so far in planning for the next season, lets hope that it continues.BWFC_Insane wrote:Nobody is going to offer decent money for Lee till they see how he is over a period of games.

We are certainly looking in a far better position than the dingles whose infighting is still continuing.
