Re: Burnley Tickets
Chances of this selling out before general sale?
Anyone know what our allocation is - whole stand, 3900?

Re: Burnley Tickets
I'm going off what I see on BWFC website:
*Tickets were originally due to go on sale to season ticket holders on Tuesday 17 July, however due to technical problems from the online software providers this has now been put back to Wednesday 18 July at 9am.
The club apologises for any incovenience caused.

Re: Burnley Tickets
It'll be cheaper in the Championship. Hahahaha. Fulham is consistently cheap. Villa and Sunderland last season were £20 and £25. I think it was £32 for a seat at the Emirates two seasons ago. I even think Anfield was £32.
I'd be intrigued to see other prices but this is absolutely crazy prices imv.

Re: Burnley Tickets
I said ages ago, away games would be more expensive should we get relegated. Nerr nerr

Re: Burnley Tickets
£30 is a f*cking disgrace but it doesn't massively susprise me, wasn't expecting bargain price tickets even at this level with the bloated state of english football. burnley must be under some illusion we have a big following of fans due to our time in the top flight, maybe some truth to that but not sure.
be a good effort if we fill the away end and fair play to those that go.

That's because we weren't a 'Category A' game for any of the teams you've mentioned. In fact we weren't a 'Category A' game for anyone in the Premier League.Dr.Karl wrote:It'll be cheaper in the Championship. Hahahaha. Fulham is consistently cheap. Re: Burnley Tickets
I don't know what category we were with Blackburn, but they're a similar team in terms of distance to Burnley and local rivalry and that was only £15. My point is the Premiership for Bolton fans wasn't as expensive as the top end of the league and maybe not as expensive as the Championship. Basically putting this "it'll be cheaper in the championship" myth to bed.BL3 wrote:That's because we weren't a 'Category A' game for any of the teams you've mentioned. Re: Burnley Tickets
I'm not sure you can judge Championship ticket prices on the basis of one game. I doubt that there will be many teams charging us that much this season. Blackburn were trying to fill their ground so they charged us £15 as a special promotion. Presumably Burnley think that they can fill their ground at £30 a ticket for non-season ticket holders as we're a big draw at that level.Dr.Karl wrote:I don't know what category we were with Blackburn, but they're a similar team in terms of distance to Burnley and local rivalry and that was only £15. Re: Burnley Tickets
yeah and as others have alluded to we have huge followings at blackburn and we have a nice agreement with them over the ticket pricing. similar for wigan.BL3 wrote:We'll have a big following at Burnley.James B wrote:burnley must be under some illusion we have a big following of fans due to our time in the top flight, maybe some truth to that but not sure.
£30 is just sh*t really. but as i said i'm not surprised in the least.
the category a thing is an interesting point. might not see many cheap away ticket prices this season.
Re: Burnley Tickets
Burnley won't get many big pay days in the Championship which is why they're charging us £30 and not £15. They're obviously expecting a big gate even at those prices. If Blackburn could have filled their ground when they were charging us the best part of £30 for a ticket, they wouldn't have dropped the price to £15.James B wrote:yeah and as others have alluded to we have huge followings at blackburn and we have a nice agreement with them over the ticket pricing. similar for wigan.
Re: Burnley Tickets
yeah probably. just hope this is an exception rather than the norm.
