Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Might just pop along to this. It'll be good to see the squad back on British soil after a week with those filthy foreigners in Scotland.

I saw Darren Pratley play on his own, up front at this game. There's some thing you just can't un-see...

Don't tell me, David N'Gog was the anchor man in a midfield four?

Everybody knows Pratley is well short of a world beater. But the lad has goals in him if he gets some confidence and gets a run going.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yU0rtYQagOQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Seems like he's now the whipping boy for the fans, which given he hardly played last season, and has had niggling injury and illness since being here I find a bit ridiculous. He is someone who would play well behind a striker, but not in an overly technical way, but in a timing powerful runs into the box way.

IF he gets a decent chance this season and gets some confidence I think he would score more than any of our other midfield players, quite possibly than any of our strikers as well. But he needs a run and needs to get going!

He was having a good old chin-wag with the centre backs so at least he had something to do.

Sorry, the lad is just talentless. He did play behind davies on Sat, he didn't touch the ball. Well, he did run around a lot though.

Coyle takes the positives
Bolton manager Owen Coyle felt there were plenty of positives to take from their latest pre-season outing - a 1-1 draw with Crewe. :shock:

Ricketts' was the best comment after the Falkirk game:

' “If we’d gone and won 5-0, we would have had nothing to work on,” he said. “We could have become complacent.'

Phew. Thanks Sam.

Watch the video, see the goals he has scored. That's not a talentless player.

I don't care if he won the World Cup for Swansea, he's toss for us and that's what matters.

How many games has he had? Strikes me as a player low on confidence.

Get a run and he's got goals in him.

Personally I think he could be a much more effective player than Mark Davies....
