Meet him once, nicer bloke you couldn't have wished to have met. Very good defender in his day and added steel to a flagging defence when he arrived. Good luck to him

Had some shockers but he had more good days than bad with us. Seems like a top pro and can only wish him the best of luck.

I seem to recall when he first missed a few games through injury it was like we had lost Bobby Charlton. Did very very well for us for a while, then faded.

Always liable to make a costly mistake every game. Ball watched a lot but then just quick enough to make a last ditch tackle, that wouldn't have been needed if he was paying attention.

He seemed very very good for a while. I don't think he was, he was OK, but he came in to replace Gerald Cid, so it isn't hard to see why we all thought he was Bobby Moore (Charlton, Quiffter?)!

Ooh, now I understand what +1 means.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Been at Leeds for last 2 years, would have thought he'd retire there, being from Harrogate.

Then again, turn down Canada?! Never!!
