How do we know Mark Davies isn't unsettled?

We don't..

But i personally think he won't be all that interested. Swansea could easily drop next season and he will know that.

Play in a higher league. Earn more money. Move away from the manager who hasnt got a fecking clue how to get the best out of you and managed to get a team on a higher budget relegated.

oh aye he'll knock that back.

Michael Laudrup and a team with a lower budget. Oh aye.

There's a good chance Bolton will be in a higher league than Swansea next year, which would obviously have to be taken into account.

Wolves went down with us and look like they could get 12 million for Fletcher and have turned down 9 million for Jarvis. Us and Wolves are different from clubs like Blackpool IMO.. the yoyo clubs are easier targets for clubs to buy from.. especially when there players are unsettled.
I read that the £9m bid was £6m down and £3m add-ons. Also, Wolves have just sold Kightly to Stoke for about £1.5m, with which the Stokies are delighted.

You're right though that - at the moment - we might be seen as in a better position than Blackpool, what with having been a Premiership club for 121 of the last 124 months.

However, mark this: the season starts before the transfer window shuts, and a player's career is short. For what it's worth, I think there's a good chance Swansea will be relegated... arguably a better chance than there is that we'll be promoted. Either way, they're up there and we're not. If we're not looking good for an instant return, you could hardly blame someone for wanting to move on up - and Coyle's back on the old Cahill treadmill of "we'll never stand in a player's way, but..."

Joe Allen has now joined Liverpool for an "undisclosed fee".

Never rated Kightly, bit too much inconsistency and injury for my liking
Pfffft.

Kightly is not a wow signing and 1.5 mil for a prem player is nothing these days. Injury prone and inconsistent, can't see him flourishing under Pulis.

Pulls has a knack of getting average wingers playing at the top of their game. Good signing if they keep him fit...

At least The Oracle has said there is something going into the paper tomorrow, maybe even two somethings. Has to be a defensive midfielder, right?

This Diego Reyes looks decent for Mexico, strong looking defender, playing in the mexican league may be worth a punt

We would never be able to afford a decent player from Mexico. Their clubs now pay big money - certainly bigger money than we could afford.
