Pretty sure it'd be a different tune had we won though pal.
If it eventually leads to-

A) Coyle dumping the 4-4-2 obsession.
B) His p45

then it will have been a minor sacrifice.

Its a Sad day when Wigan are in the Premier League beating a team 4 - 1 away that we struggled against 2 -2 at home, whilst we lose against Crawley Town. This just shows how far we have fallen, if that clown Gartside can't see this now, but then again, he hasnt seen it so far so why would anything change. We're gonna do a Charlton/Southampton and slip straight through this division.

Joke of a performance. We only really looked in the game when we had a spell after they equalized. We got a goal against the run of play then sat on it for most of the match.

We're not going to get anywhere in this league if we can't boss teams that are supposedly weaker than us. This was one of those games we should've been bossing but we didn't really look in it. It's depressing its the same crap as last season but against weaker opposition.

There's no controlling matches. We're giving away possession cheaply and not keeping hold of the ball. No wonder Crawley ended up having so many shots.

We could've won it today but I don't think we would've deserved it. Crawley were the better side.

Get some players that can keep hold of a ball and not piss it away.

Not sure I've mentioned this before, but I am not Owen Coyle's biggest fan.

I had no expectations fert' League Cup .... though I did expect to beat Crawley.

Coyle is a useless, clueless, pointless waste of oxygen and he is killing my club. For fcks sake go before you do any more damage you nonesensical little turd.

The bedsheets will be turning up soon. Hopefully that means he'll be the way of Megscum before long.

Only problem is Coyle and Gartside seem fairly matey so it may take a while to sour...I have a nasty feeling he'll back him until at least after Xmas and by then promotion will be out of the equation.

It's rather lucky for Cptn. Chaos that this was an away game .... coz the cat-calls will have been almost Megsonesque !

Coyle is bringing a slow, agonising death to us. I can't see us challenging for the playoffs, let alone automatic promotion with him in charge. We might end up mid-table. This season. But if our rate of decline under Coyle continues, we'll be battling relegation by next season. We might survive, but it will only be a matter of time until League One calls us. And after that, who knows?

Our only chance is to effect an immediate change, to at least have a decent chance at getting to the Premier League again.

Totally agree with this, Gartside will back him until it's way too late.

No point in sacking Coyle unless Gartside goes too.

Just 4 months ago, Crawley were 3 leagues below us. That's an indication of how far we've fallen. Why on earth would anyone bring on Davies when he's just played 3 games in 7 days? It beggars belief.

Just seen the goals on SSN, there was a massive NRC/Muamba sized whole through the centre of midfield. Both Pratley and Andrews looked to be chasing shadows, finished from just outside the box.

He might not be ideal but I hope to god we sign Spearing sooner rather than later, I don't care if Liverpool fans rate him or not. If IRC Reo Coker was labelled useless by a few Villa fans, in fact a friend of mine said he was the worst professional footballer he'd ever seen. He's a bit of a dick though, more of a associate.

We're not the first though, Crawley have a reputation for this sort of thing. It's not the defeat per se, as with most things with Coyle its the manner of which it came.

Doesn't matter who we sign if Coyle won't play a system that protects the back four.

Would that it were as simple as changing the formation and system. Fact is, Coyle's rotted the club through, from the ground upwards. We don't train right, we don't treat right, we don't drill right, we don't play right.
