Cant see it being a priority unless there is a deal to offload one of our strikers. Cant see it though. Most clubs want strikers who can score goals

I think the problem is you cant really force players like romeu and lukaku to come here and they probably arent interested, maybe he's saving it for next year. Still wouldnt mind a loan of someone like nathaniel chalobah though

There's got to be someone else on there books who'd improve us and would want to come

Bolton have snapped up Liverpool's Jay Spearing - despite a late hijack bid by Queens Park Rangers.

Spearing has accepted the switch to the Championship side, who are also set to buy him if the move works out for all parties.

The 23-year-old midfielder was tempted by the chance to stay in the top-flight with Rangers, but decided that Bolton would give him a better platform to showcase his qualities.

Hometown boy Spearing has not cut his ties with the Kop entirely, as he would love to return and he will have that option.

But Trotters boss Owen Coyle hopes he enjoys his time at the Reebok and stays - with a
full-time agreement and fee in place for the end of the loan period.
