Alot can happen in 6 months. Coyle could/will be out of a job, then when the new manager comes in will he fancy him and vice versa. Playing safe on his side.

Re: Spearing £3Mil
Nixon is saying Spearing is having a medical at Bolton as we speak. Maybe a stoke fan has photographed somebody who looks nothing like him and SSN have picked up on that a la Chungy?

Hope you are right. If coyle must play 442 he must have someone like spearing in the middle.Did seem a bit odd given stoke already have lots of pitbulls and seem to shop at Tescos not Morrisons these daysIggyTheDawgster wrote:Charlie Adam is apparently going to stoke, Maybe someone got their wires crossed.

Two bids have come in for Adam...Stoke and a Turkish club.

6 month loan according to Skysports, which on the whole, is a decent deal for us IMO.

Bit harsh,at least he puts his foot in. A loan is great though. One less dead weight for the new manager when it all goes tits up.IggyTheDawgster wrote:Watch the video I posted, You may just change your mind.Bijou Bob wrote:6 month loan according to Skysports, which on the whole, is a decent deal for us IMO.

Video's don't mean shite all! i remember when we signed Braaten and he looked like Pele.
Lets see how he performs in a white shirt before he is judged.

6 months, is that til Dec 31st to coincide with the other window?
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

This one made me chuckle too...IggyTheDawgster wrote:Much happier with the loan, at least now we can see if he fits and get a good idea if he's worth the price.

Who's that coming up the hill boys,
The Wanderers are coming up the hill boys,
They all laugh at us, they all mock at us,
They all say our days are numbered,
Born to be a Wanderer, victorious are we....

Re: Spearing £3Mil
Well i'm glad we're signing him on loan. Really wasn't happy to hear that we'd be taking a £3m punt on a player that hasn't made the grade at Liverpool. At least with a loan we can see whether he fits our system and can contribute. It's a good deal for all concerned and will undoubtedly give the lad playing time.
He's a grafter in the middle of the park whose more than made up for his height disadvantage. Hopefully he'll carry that on for Bolton. Still not too keen on the fact that we've not got a player who can pass the ball in the middle of the park or someone who is known for keeping hold of possession but at least we've got a battler in there (which is something we were missing since losing the likes of Muamba and Reo-Coker).

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
