Actually, I think it'll be alright. Watford have been shit. Which means we can't really read anything in to beating them.
But lose? Oh my....

Re: The Season Starts on Saturday. Watford.
Went down to The Reebok today to check out the stadium and Bolton central for the first time. Got to say I loved every second of it. I can't remember the last time I've actually seen Bolton merchandise let alone it being right in front of my face (last shirt I have is the away maroon number with the "RBK" design on it.
Am really excited for Saturday and the best thing about it? While standing out the front looking at the draw for the season a guy walks past and says "don't worry, we will win them all!"
It did make me laugh and was a nice change from the doom and gloom!
Oh and one last thing which might sound stupid coming from an Aussie but don't ever under appreciate what we have at Bolton. Walking down from the station, towards the stadium actually made me well up. We might have shit managers and bog average teams at times but we still have one hell of a club!
Ah maybe I'm too caught up with seeing the stadium for the first time. A loss this Saturday will turn me into the vast majority soon enough... Haha

There's plenty of time for life to drag you down, enjoy the moment while it lasts!
I would've been going to the Watford game but the people I go with are too depressed with the team.

The Reebok's something to behold on first look isn't it Pagey? The view of the pitch from just about eveywhere is great too. Hope you celebrate your visit with a win memory to take back.pagey_BWFC wrote:Went down to The Reebok today to check out the stadium and Bolton central for the first time. Can't make Watford but I'm not missing Sheff Weds - prefer a real ground anyway

Looks even better at night when you are driving towards all lit up for a match.. I remember Burnley fans when they played us 2 seasons ago commenting how fantastic it looks at night.TANGODANCER wrote:The Reebok's something to behold on first look isn't it Pagey? I had a few sneaky looks through some of the closed off areas and it seriously looks amazing. I have quality tickets on the halfway line for the game but yeah, doesn't look like there is a bad seat in the house.TANGODANCER wrote:The Reebok's something to behold on first look isn't it Pagey? Well now that's on the agenda aswell now! I can only imagine how great it looks on that awesome little walk down from the station.ChrisC wrote:Looks even better at night when you are driving towards all lit up for a match.. Have we ever actually seen them at the same time? Or was the £4m signing of N'gog, actually just Pratley (Free) made to look a bit different to appease the fans?bobo the clown wrote:I honestly dunno.ohjimmyjimmy wrote:(is that not Pratley?)

Re: The Season Starts on Saturday. Watford.
Will be interesting to see Coyle's approach to this game. Everything depends on whether he wants to continue playing Mark Davies and who he compromises to keep him in the team.
By all accounts Spearing was our best player against Hull so he will be there, that means if we do the widely-expected return to 4-4-2 then Andrews will have to be the one to miss out, probably unfairly.
The other alternative is that Chungy has been flying here there and everywhere over the week, there could be the potential MDavies gets shunted out on the right wing?

Hi everyone, i'm travelling up from Kent to watch the game tomorrow (will be the first footy stadium i've been to). I'm looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere of a live game and hopefully we smash Watford so that the 4 and a half hour drive home is more enjoyable.

Blimey, you're keen. I dread to think how depressing the 4 1/2 hour journey back could potentially be. Hope it works out for you!SpitfiresKent wrote:Hi everyone, i'm travelling up from Kent to watch the game tomorrow (will be the first footy stadium i've been to). Watford got beat by Derby, so 442 nailed on.
I think we'll win.
This could put us in lower mid-table.
Some folk will therefore not call for a new manager.

Re: The Season Starts on Saturday. Watford.
Quite likely.i hope he doesnt put mavis on the wing though. He cant cross a ball to save his life and willjust be totally inr=effective except for two promising runs that come to nought. If coyle must play 442 he must use players who can make it work. Andrews/Spearing have to be central eagles and cyl or petrov should be out wide. I d expect KD to start up top with sordellLoyal White wrote:Will be interesting to see Coyle's approach to this game.
