I don't know maybe it was the fact we went to shambles for 45 minutes after putting the best 45 minute performance in a long long time and then gifted them chance after chance and then scraped through with a 2-1 win after we could and should of been 3 or 4-0 up at half time.

Our nerves are clearly shot to pieces but we hung on. As little faith as I have in Coyle, I hope this is some kind of turning point. Eagles sounded like he was involved in everything good going forward and Knight still solid at the back? You have to hand it to these two players. Our only performers this season.

I don't think anyones going to complain that we won. We all want to see Premier League next year. I think it's the manner of the win. When's the last time we won convincingly? When we weren't left watching the last 45 minutes with eyes half shut through finger cracks? I can't recall the last time we went into a game and I was confident we'd win. I think that's the issue.

to be fair - that's pretty much always been how we play!! even in the BigSam glory years we used to chew our fingernails as the team sat deeper and deeper and defended a 1-0 lead....
