Coyle out - Mick McCarthy in.

I think I would jump off the bridge right away.

More that I'm shocked at it going on during a match. Surely best kept for his own free time!

Have we even properly tested Speroni? Shocking. Coyle hasn't learned anything.

Bolton's 2012 league form: LWDLWLWL < That's about as inconsistent as you get. I politely ignored the massive L from Crawley Town away, too.

Not. Good. Enough.

Food for thought; to achieve a 2 points per game ratio we need to win 6 games in a row now.

If he had ought about him he'd go tonight.
Problem is he's a stubborn bastard and he won't.
Has the board enough bottle sack him ??
Very doubtful IMO.

And we look as far away from doing that now as we did last season in a tougher division :(

Mick McCarthy is just as w*nk as Coyle. No thanks.

Not good enough.

Could argue we were harshly done by with the penalty but at the end of the day we've gotta be testing their keeper more than we currently are. Our midfield look devoid of providing assists (Andrews, Spearing, Eagles and Mark Davies), our strikers look incapable of finishing (SKD and N'Gog) and the defence look like they can't keep a clean sheet.

So it looks like we're needing our midfielders to score the goals (Mark Davies and Eagles), our strikers to do the defending (as is the case with every corner) and our defenders to just soak up the pressure.

I honestly can't tell what the team is trying to do. It doesn't seem like there's a structure to it and watching the more skillful players warm the bench it just seems utterly illogical (its like watching Sammy Lee's Bolton all over again with Campo being out of contention and Guthrie being selected instead). Even when things are going wrong we need a moment of magic. I can expect Eagles and Mark Davies pop up with the occassional bit of magic but I think we're having to carry them most games.

We're destined to finish midtable at this rate (if we're lucky).

And the cycle continues. There'll be no end to this until Garty gives Coyle the boot. I'm happy to lend my size 13s Garty...

I am confident that he will be sacked tomorrow. The awful display at brum and again today sealed it. Sad thing is he will leave us with a very poor squad. We just need to get enough points to stay up then have a total rebuild in the summer

Atm wouldn't people take Mick over Owen? He's not our long term replacement but he seems a better manager to me. Ignoring the cost of replacing Coyle just purely as a manager McCarthy is a better option. At least we'd get humorous post match interviews. We're in the shitter with or without him it seems. Bottom line is we fecked up by not sacking Coyle in the Summer.

So we reverted to a 4-4-2 again? BTW we definitely started this formation last week but it morphed into a narrower midfielder as the game went on whether that was Coyle's doing is another matter.

The squad you talk about is supposedly the best squad in the league, according to some. As for the total rebuild we supposedly had that in the summer. As for sacked tomorrow, Can anyone else see that ?? Really hope so but just can't see it.

McCarthy is a better manager than Coyle but that doesn't make him a good manager. Both are poor.
