His contract didn't expire in the summer, he may be on some kind of rolling contract or quietly signed a new one during the highs of 2010.

Me I'd rip the feck* up and tell him to sue me!! It matters little if you prove he was crap at his job and was dismissed because of this and that was according to the tribuneral some knob took us to because 'he had a contract' most ain't worth the paper they are written on!

Ive never seen owt about coyles contract other than when he signed up it was due to expire in summer 2012. He's clearly still here so we have to cancel something. Who knows....who cares....its just time to go

Agreed, except, frankly, that could be viewed as a 'one game' reaction when, in fact, it's an 18m one.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

You know .... I did wonder, & then foolishly, VERY foolishly, thought "no, they're quite grown up on this site".

I committed a grave error. I apologise.

Sadly I think the board are giving him the ten games which will take us upto the Millwall game just as the international break starts.

He can't hit his 2ppg target even if we won the next two so he should be binned off now!

We'd have to win the next 6 to get to 2ppg....

I suppose after ten games we would've had chance to speak to a replacement or two.

I like the bloke and it'd be nice if his managerial tenure didn't end on a bad note but enough is enough. The changes that have been made have been less than convincing, the signings we've made have been woeful.

I wanted Megson out for less and we've given Coyle enough time to get it sorted and enough leniency given the Holden and Muamba situations but we can't continue this steady decline without some positives being put in place to address the slide.
