His contract didn't expire in the summer, he may be on some kind of rolling contract or quietly signed a new one during the highs of 2010.officer_dibble wrote:Well I dunnoa1 wrote:coz its gonna cost us more than fecking him off at the same time last year.

Me I'd rip the feck* up and tell him to sue me!! It matters little if you prove he was crap at his job and was dismissed because of this and that was according to the tribuneral some knob took us to because 'he had a contract' most ain't worth the paper they are written on!Whookam wrote:His contract didn't expire in the summer, he may be on some kind of rolling contract or quietly signed a new one during the highs of 2010.officer_dibble wrote:Well I dunnoa1 wrote:coz its gonna cost us more than fecking him off at the same time last year.

Agreed, except, frankly, that could be viewed as a 'one game' reaction when, in fact, it's an 18m one.Owen'sEleven wrote:If we lose v Leeds, he goes. In my honest opinion.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Id sack him now
id sack him tomorrow
id sack him before or after the game, half time, 30 minutes in, before a "Coyle Suicide Sub"(tm quiff), in the bar after the match, in the car park
however the feck gartside does it he has to do it now

Re: Is it time yet?
Sadly I think the board are giving him the ten games which will take us upto the Millwall game just as the international break starts.
He can't hit his 2ppg target even if we won the next two so he should be binned off now!

We'd have to win the next 6 to get to 2ppg....ChrisC wrote:Sadly I think the board are giving him the ten games which will take us upto the Millwall game just as the international break starts.

Re: Is it time yet?
I suppose after ten games we would've had chance to speak to a replacement or two.
I like the bloke and it'd be nice if his managerial tenure didn't end on a bad note but enough is enough. The changes that have been made have been less than convincing, the signings we've made have been woeful.
I wanted Megson out for less and we've given Coyle enough time to get it sorted and enough leniency given the Holden and Muamba situations but we can't continue this steady decline without some positives being put in place to address the slide.
