Re: Now he's gone, who's next?
not sure that's the word i'd use. but the muamba substitions and his management of that situation re: fabrice's twitter repost of a thread on here showing fabrice JUST WINS standing up for himself. had me thinking "stubborn dickhead" and similar.
would not have minded had they sacked him then over just that.
after the spazzout folk had over megson's bad man management. yet this were played out in almost totally public plain view every week.

I've not really been checking, has OGS definitely been ruled out?

Don't think so, but has he ever been ruled in either? We're only going off paper talk (largely) and some odds from the bookies, so I think you're on make your own mind up territory.ohjimmyjimmy wrote:I've not really been checking, has OGS definitely been ruled out?

OGS down to third favourite looking on odds checker, overtaken by appleton. McCarthy still the favourite.
Jimmy Phillips and Billy Davies also in contention (though Jiminho is only being given odds by Stanley Victor)

I once had a bit of a to-do with Phil Brown in Shimul's. He was giving it the big 'I am', so I put him straight. The man's an absolute wanker!

Hasn't he been quoted as saying he wants to finish the Norwegian League first? They play a summer league in Norway, starting March, finishing on the 6th December 2012.Worthy4England wrote:Don't think so, but has he ever been ruled in either? Putting two and two together to make 5 - Didn't Gartside say Little Sam and Jimmy may be in charge for a few matches so we make sure we get the right man?

See, this is what amazes me. How come Coyle's replacement wasn't lined up prior to him being sacked?malcd1 wrote:Didn't Gartside say Little Sam and Jimmy may be in charge for a few matches so we make sure we get the right man?

Maybe he was, maybe PG knew he would need to wait a few weeks for OGS - but had to sack Coyle now as we are in free fall? Maybe.. But I doubt it!Bruce Rioja wrote:See, this is what amazes me. Re: Now he's gone, who's next?
I think the Norwegian League finishes early November. Although they do have some UEFA Cup games to play after the season ends
TBF, if OGS wins the title for a second time.. what else can he really do there ?
They're not going to be ripping up trees in the Champions League !
My guess is he'll see that as a good time to move on.

Good point, leaves them on a high & they can't criticise him for going either, doing the honourable thing & shows good character IMOnewcarsmell wrote:I think the Norwegian League finishes early November. Although they do have some UEFA Cup games to play after the season ends

Re: Now he's gone, who's next?
Like someone else said, could be we're trying to get him to sign a pre-nup, on the QT, then let him go back and finish the season with Molde...and hope in the meantime that our interim management dont completely foul things up even further in the next 4 or 5 weeks.
Alternatively, he may just not be interested, or we in him, who knows.
