That was the writters opinion. OGS was quoted in the article to say he was not bothered by the rumors.
While you're generally right, and we should always apply the check-the-quote criterion, OGS does say something very similar:
There will always be speculation when someone in England needs a new manager. There are surely 20 names who have been linked with Bolton now and it's natural that mine is among them. But it's not for me. Blackburn, Bolton, rumours crop up all the time. But I'm not that bothered about them. I'm absolutely certain I will see out the season here (with Molde), I can promise that.

I get the feeling that when a genuine bit of news filters out, like an official approach made to someone, the manager in question will be completely out of left-field that no-one even thought about...then we'll all do a collective 'ohhhhh yeah, i forgot about him!'

Notice he says 'Bolton' almost as frequently as Daniel Sturridge said 'Chelsea' in his interviews ;-)

Therefore where you say 'The man did not say in the article that he does not want to come to Bolton' - well, he kinda does say that... 8)
That was the writters opinion. OGS was quoted in the article to say he was not bothered by the rumors.
"There will always be speculation when someone in England needs a new manager," he told Norwegian newspaper Romsdals Budstikke.

"There are surely 20 names who have been linked with Bolton now and it's natural that mine is among them. But it's not for me.

"Blackburn, Bolton, rumours crop up all the time. But I'm not that bothered about them.

"I'm absolutely certain I will see out the season here (with Molde), I can promise that."

Umm no...it's in quotaton marks, he said it himself.
I may be wrong but I dont read it that way. He was trying to reassure the Norwegan people that he is not jumping ship before the season ended. Said the politically right words.

Well for me the way it reads is the Bolton job is not for him. There again, he could mean it's not for him to speculate. He may also mean he's not bothered about the rumours as opposed to the clubs mentioned. So we'll see.

Agree. With Molde 2 points clear at the top ofthe league with 8 or 9 games to go, it would be a surprise if he said, "I can't wait to start my new job at Bolton. I'm gone straight after the last game".

When a manager is already employed, they always distance themselves from speculation like this. That is not to say that he really doesn't fancy it and he is waiting for something bigger.
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

I wonder how many of the managers in the frame are waiting out bigger jobs like the Ireland job, the Scotland job, the Wales job, the Liverpool job, the QPR job to name a few?

Even if OGS wanted to come, I doubt he'd say so. I think a complete denial that he's interested is what you expect of a manager in such a position. I'm not saying that it's a positive sign but it's not a negative either, I don't think.

Probs not.

They're probably just fishing for people who hang around football stadia of an afternoon for some 'EXCLUSIVE VIEWPOINTS' or something.
