I've declined to vote, since I don't know enough about him to have an opinion at this stage.

It goes without saying that I wish him all the best. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
Hope is what keeps us going.

I'm going to go ahead and vote no. I don't see anything in Freedman's record that indicates he's going to get us to where we want to go.

And his name is stupid. "Dougie," you're a grown man FFS.

I said No but I was also unhappy when we appointed Rioch so I'm hoping I'm wrong again..

The idea is to get an initial reaction to the appointment, then I'm gonna do another poll in a few weeks... Just for science y'know...
I'd rather support Bolton than be you.

Too soon to tell whether he'll be any good or not. His record at Crystal Palace sounds reasonable but I can't honestly say he's known for signing really good players based on how well he's done with Palace. It's not long enough to say whether or not his signings were lucky breaks or really good managerial work.

Needless to say I hope Gartside has done his homework.

Then I suggest you add another category entitled "dunno, time will tell".

I'm sorry I am not impressed with the appointment. Listening to the commentary on tonights match at Wolves we battered Wolves(especially in the second half) and I was impressed with the positional changes made by Philips et al (SKD at centre half,Ream at left back) allowing a more attacking formation to grab a deservrd equaliser.
I personally would rather continue with the current arrangement of Philips,Lee and Darby. They have a connection with Bolton. What has Freedman achieved? Nothing more than the three amigos!!!

I'm sorry but the jury is out with me on this appointment!!!

Well Lee's proven he's an absolutely shocking manager and Philips has stated he doesn't want the job. So...

Utterly defensive when winning - score a goal then put everybody behind the ball and hope to cling on is his standard tactic.
Some other bloke did that! now let me see it was ................................

Don't know that much about him so too early to judge.

I voted yes by default. The options available werent great. He has done a decent job at palace in a short period and he will have more to work with at Bolton.Seems to have more about him than coyle.

No, no no no. A thousand times no.
He is at best mediocre. His record is 35% wins as a manager. Apart from beating Manure in a game of little consequence and having been given 'Manager of the month' for getting 13 points out of 15 (3 of those against us, 3 more gainst Sheff Wed) what else has he done. [apart from roads, and taxes, and the army of course].
Palace were not falling over themselves to negotiate a new contract and we go in and double his wages!!!
I, of course, hope I'm wrong, but I don't like this one bit. I foresee mid table mediocrity followed by a crash. :(

I voted yes, although the choices were limited.

However, he is not officially appointed yet and is a largely unproven manager.

He will get my support, though, if and when he's appointed.

I just hope he gets the chance to prove himself before the boo-boys start in.
