All four of our main strikers have the ability to end this season in multiple figures, just need to build up their confidence.

Might have to re-watch the goals. Turns out Jaegerbombs aren't great for remembering details of the game.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

If Bogdan, Lainton and Lynch are all fit then I'd have thought the Football League would view that those three were more than sufficient to cover the goalkeeping spot.

We can just loan normally cant we? I've advocating dropping bogdan for some time. Not impressed. He should be bollocking the defenders but lacks the bottle? Hopefully Dougie will sort the backline and he'll grow in confidence a bit

I was thinking exactly that last night, that good goalkeepers are an extra set of eyes behind the back four and should organise them / help them keep their shape. But he doesn't seem to have the voice (unsurprising, seeing that he was dropped into a struggling side as a youngster, and things have hardly picked up, last two games apart).

Add that to his knack of palming the ball down into the path of opposition strikers, and and being slightly suspect with high balls, and I'd be tempted to give him a rest. How's Craig Gordon's knee doing? Appearance based short term contract as he's free and trying to get fit again?

Were our goals any good?

Yes, well finished from afobe, and good volley (or half volley) from m Davies, although neither player did much else in my book. Petrov excellent. Ricketts looked good when he came on.
ridiculous ricketts doesn't get a start in our defence. he's better than all of them. in every position. including bogdan!

Shocker from Bogdan on the second – you can't parry the ball straight back into the box. I think he's got it in him to be a top keeper, but he does look low on confidence right now.
Just seen this; thanks. Bogdans at fault for both those IMO. first goes under his body at his near post.

We don't have to ask the Football League, we can bring in anybody we like on loan. It's only Premier League clubs that have to apply for special dispensation.

Nothing like making somebody play in the reserves to fill them with confidence.

Maybe followed by a loan stint to Torshavn in the Faeroes.

True, I get what you're saying, but playing him in the first team where everyone expects isn't exactly helping either. N'Gog clearly has no confidence to try (m)any shots or runs and the only place I can think of him banging goals in is for the reserve team for a while. To an extent when he's playing it's almost like we're with 10 men. He does have the potential to get goals, most of his 4? goals since signing have been pretty good quality, he just needs the confidence to know he can. Sure, it may knock him but once he starts hitting them in it would pick up. What else would you suggest?
January. Sell. Buy someone who can score.

When N'gog plays, we look a better side and if the others are scoring goals due to other aspects of his game pinning defenders deeper , then I'm happy(ish) for him to continue not scoring as long as he's contributing elsewhere.

Our highest finish in decades came when Davo scored about 7 goals.... Granted we used to keep clean sheets back then..
