This is still basically Coyles team Freedman can only work with what he's got. I think it'll be another season in the Championship with the crap left by Coyle shipped out and Freedman building a team to his philosophy, before we see any marked improvement.

We are not a top side. We do not have a good enough squad.

What are you expecting? We were shit last year, shit this year. It shouldn't surprise you.

What the team that some people on here and pundits alike said we'll p*ss this league,
We've the best squad in the league they said.
Back to earth time, I said at the time we'd struggle, I would be more than happy with mid table.
Relegation is a possability with this team.

The team Coyle built isn't a bad one, as Freedman has mentioned many times. The selection today is absurd and can't be pinned on Coyle.

But it is. That's the trouble.

If they were good enough we would get results.

I still shudder when I think back to the smiling gimp's words at the last Fan's Forum. "This is the squad of players that I'd have assembled anyway had we stayed up".

Yes we kept most of the players from last season but that load of sh*te got relegated from the Premierleague.

We replaced the players we lost at the end of last season with even worse players.

I can't really think of many of our players that would get into premierleague sides..

We have good individuals but no team ethic or spirit.

Look how we played immediately after Muambas collapse, with passion, togetherness and spirit.

Before and since we are just not a team. It will take time to form that.

But I believe we will. I'm not worried about strange selections. It's very similar to when Allardyce first came and he started scratching around for teams with mixed results.

We will settle down.

It may well not be in time for this season.

It's already looking as though Freedman shouldn't have been appointed.
