It just says he's injured. It doesn't call him a soft arse - is that just a rumour?

Ricky Gardner, Sean Davies, Holden, Mears, Chungy, Wheater and now Mark Davis. Not been having the very best of luck for a while, have we?

Edit. Add Mills.

As long as it isn't Operation, we shouldn't worry too much.

I'm hoping not - he tried to play on and looked gutted to then be hauled off.

The last person I can remember trying to play on after limping to the sidelines injured was Wheater

Hopefully Mark Davies' pain threshold is a tad lower and it's just something (relatively) minor.

Can't recall the last time a player going off completely ruined a performance like that. Hope it's nothing major cos poor old Stuey had a shocker and I don't think we'll be seeing him play at any sort of level til next season.

"It has been a massive blow for us to miss Mark for the last three months. He twisted his knee and we'll see in the morning," added Freedman. "He's got a scan so let's keep our fingers crossed."

Mark Davies: Bolton midfielder extends contract to 2017
Midfielder Mark Davies has signed an extension to his contract with Bolton, keeping him at Wanderers until 2017.
Davies, 25, joined Bolton from Wolves in January 2009 and has played 130 times for the club, scoring 13 goals.
His season has been disrupted by a shoulder injury but has returned to good effect in February, helping Dougie Freedman's side go five games unbeaten.
But a knee problem forced him off during the first half of the 1-0 win against Peterborough on Tuesday.
Freedman confirmed Davies will have a scan on Wednesday to discover the extent of the injury.
There was interest in Davies from the Premier League at the beginning of the season following Bolton's relegation from the top flight, with Swansea having an offer in the region of £4m turned down.
"I wanted to get it done," Freedman told BBC Radio Manchester. "I came into the club [in October] and they were talking to him. It was dragging on a little bit and I wanted to put an end to it.
"I want him to be at the club and I think the fans do. I want to build the team around him, so I just tied up the loose ends."
A 2-1 defeat at Watford on 2 February left Bolton 20th in the Championship and three points above the relegation zone.
But Wanderers took 11 points from the next 15 on offer and now lie 10th, seven points from the play-offs.
"We're playing very well," added former Crystal Palace boss Freedman.
"Away from home, our defensive displays have been great and on the attack we're getting better."
