Sounded like Afobe took his chance more than Marv at Peterborough
He did, in my opinion.

Don't worry. If we have a repeat of going behind early we may well see 3-2-5 before it's over.
I reckon both Afobe and Sordell will figure somewhere today. Much will depend on whether Dougie has kissed the frogs in defence and had princes emerge.

This will be my second game of the season, against a team I used to support as a young lad (well, it was more just Chris Waddle)

The last game I watched was against Cardiff, so hopefully I'm some sort of good luck charm.

I can only see one choice up front and that's Afobe, although I'd prefer it not to be.

1-1 draw I reckon.

Lot of players missing, Alonso or Ream will have to play.

For that reason, and let's face it having to start either of those two is more than enough reason, I think we will get beat.

I just hope that there is enough room for manoeuvre in January for Dougie to bring in some big hard bastards to fix this crappy soft side we have.

I'll be off down there in half an hour or so. Hoping all Dougie's Xmas dreams come true. Solid defence, clean sheet and flowing counter attacking football.

4-3 win it is

Wednesday's winger Antonio gave Alonso the run around at Hillsbrough earlier in the season so not confident about that little contest. Its about time some of our squad players stepped up to the mark so lets hope they do it this afternoon.
Who's that coming up the hill boys,
The Wanderers are coming up the hill boys,
They all laugh at us, they all mock at us,
They all say our days are numbered,

Born to be a Wanderer, victorious are we....

Defence looks rock-solid then and 2 up-front always works well!

Back to 4-4-2 then. Think I'd sooner have Ricketts in the middle than Ream, but hey ho.

I'm not sure of that. Hasn't Dougie played Afobe on the wing before?

I'm not that worried about that team going forwards, more worried at the back.

Alonso wasn't spectacular at Hillsborough but I thought he did well enough but with a few mistakes. Think I'd rather have him at left back than Ream in the middle at the moment.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Probably get beat. Wednesday have got some physically quick players like Antonio that will probably pose a greater threat than they did earlier in the season. Still, I've had a few quid on 2-0 to Bolton.

Hopefully Ream gets some confidence back and hopefully Afobe and Ngog work well together.

Is Chungy injured?

4-3. Freedman sent to the stands early doors leaving his assistant to mastermind a second half come-back with braces for Beatnik Adobe and Eggnog. B(E)N to run with the headline 'Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence'.
