I'm sure somebody will claim to have seen him play

Roy Hodgson rated him highly last season too. Couldn't be any worse than what we currently have anyway (can he????).

Last time we took a out of favor 22/23 year old from a team in the midlands it ended up being one of the best centre backs we've ever had at the club... don't be so quick to jump on him!

it's also worth noting that Birmingham said on sky sports they may need to sell that keeper to stop themselves going into administration and if thats the case we should jump in and get this Nathan Redmond 18 year old winger, got bags of pace and a decent cross on him aswell! better then our Lee if you ask me!

Better than Greg Wylde tho ?????

If they need to sell Nathan Redmond or Jack Butland, there are far bigger clubs than bolton who would sweep them up.

I remember somebody mentioning Chris Wood at Millwall (on loan from West Brom)

Leicester have agreed a 1 million fee with West Brom for him.

Scored 11 goals this season. Good price especially if he gets them over the line come season end.

“With the injuries to David Wheater and, more recently, Matt Mills it’s been a bit difficult. I’ll be trying to balance it up and I have made some calls to managers, but as we speak nothing has been lined up.”

Yet previously he's said he doesn't want, or need, a big squad and was keen to thin out the numbers starting with loaning players out and later getting shut.

He said there was no point as that just led to players sitting around with no game time.

Now we are too thin on the ground.

Add this to that quote Bish, not so much about new players, but it's awfully revealing about perhaps some of the players we have here....
“We just need to make sure the right type of player comes in here.

“We need someone who wants to come and play for Bolton, not that we are doing them a favour.

“These are the types of players I am looking for and Craig certainly fits that bill.

“He has links with the area but that isn’t the reason we would be interested.

“We want a player who views this club in a way that they would walk here to play in front of the fans at the Reebok and move heaven and earth to play for us.”

That's a lot of goals for a centre forward at our place. :D
