Gave him a big hug & fckd off down to that Wembley.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Can't find it anywhere either. Just the one video which shows both their goals. The game was shown earlier today on LFCTV (Sky channel 429) which is free to air. The programme has comments from McManaman and McAteer. might be worth keeping an eye on the listings if anyone feels that they want to feel the pain again.Leyther_Matt wrote:Branagan

My main memory from that game is that in the programme it said Gudni's birthplace was 'Bolton' and that Mark Seagraves nickname was 'Mark Seagrave'.
Oh and the goals.
Oh and the goals.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

I still love Greenie (For England) despite him being made to look like a sub for the under-9's B team that day by Mcnawhtever.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

McManaman was almost unplayable at that time, but we gave it a fvckin good go and that goal by Tomo was an absolute peach.
Edit, my cousin was a ball boy that day towards the Liverpool end. He came home with about £25's worth of coinage that the scousers were lobbing about.

Me too. Remeber him fondly, nice bloke as well as a committed player. However if gudni had started...... balls to itLord Kangana wrote:I still love Greenie (For England) despite him being made to look like a sub for the under-9's B team that day by Mcnawhtever.
Great day out, and then even better a few weeks later. And let's not forget the semis, which were amazing.

Re: 18 Years Ago.......
I think 18yrs and 2 days ago I was just about exiting the Wembley car-park. I'd accidentally found myself coralled into it and ... Well, 'never again'. Couldn't believe how long it took to get away.
... & a car-park full of happy scousers ! Not recommended.
Got my own back since mind.
