Re: Club Rebranding
We're going to be sponsored by Moonpig, and make our own badge.
Re: Club Rebranding
With speculation refusing to go away, Bolton will finally reveal their new sponsor and home kit within the next fortnight.
Rumours have persisted since the end of the season that Wanderers' existing deal with 188BET is due to come to an end this summer. The online gambling company replaced Reebok as the club's main sponsor in 2009, ending a 19-year partnership with the sports manufacturer.
A number of companies have been linked to the new sponsorship deal - most notably payday loan outlet QuickQuid - although sources close to the club are refusing to comment on reports of their identity. It is understood Wanderers will reveal their new sponsor on Wednesday 29th May 2013.
With a new sponsor set to take over, a new kit will also be unveiled ahead of next season. Beginning on June 3rd, Bolton will start to post teaser images via their social media channels - with the final design being revealed at some stage later that same week.
The only rumour left to answer now is whether the club are planning on a change of crest, with numerous reports suggesting a return to the Lancashire rose is on the horizon.
Re: Club Rebranding
On the crest front, I suppose we will have to keep driving past the Bok and wait to see if the big badge changes on the stadium. You would think they would do it as the 118 logo's get taken down.

Depends if they want to "tease".ChrisC wrote:On the crest front, I suppose we will have to keep driving past the Bok and wait to see if the big badge changes on the stadium. You would think they would do it as the 118 logo's get taken down.
As with most advertising, SSN's tends to reflect its market. Permanently on in a lot of pubs and bookies.

I'll keep my eye out, save you keep driving past?ChrisC wrote:On the crest front, I suppose we will have to keep driving past the Bok and wait to see if the big badge changes on the stadium. You would think they would do it as the 118 logo's get taken down.

Re: Club Rebranding
If we get a pay day loan company on the front of my beloved Wanderers shirt, I for one will not be shelling out to buy one.
These companies are pariahs on out society. I wasn't to pleased with the betting sponsors, but at least they are removed from the kids shirts.
It will be the first time that I have not bought a shirt that I can remember, but a stance I am willing to take.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However a large number of electrons were temporarily inconvenienced…
Re: Club Rebranding
Not bought a shirt in years. Hope the badge gets changed with the return of the red rose.
'I know he's a popular player but we think this is taking things too far. Somewhere in Bolton there's someone with a John McGinlay tree in their garden!' Super John's Wife.
Re: Club Rebranding
Absolute ditto - these companies are, not to put too fine a point on it, scum. If we have signed up with one I will buy no merchandise whilst they appear.markda2000 wrote:If we get a pay day loan company on the front of my beloved Wanderers shirt, I for one will not be shelling out to buy one.

Re: Club Rebranding
I will be disgusted if we take a pay-day loan company as a sponsor.

Re: Club Rebranding
How are they going to top the masterpiece that was last years shirt?
Re: Club Rebranding
I'll probably get one, but in two years time when it's £6 tbf. Before that tho...naaah. I could get another adult's name printed on the back and then try to meet him. Or not.

Re: Club Rebranding
According to the daily mail, Bolton have agreed a sponsorship deal with payday loan company quick quid. the reason it was delayed is because Bolton were waiting for the results of inquest into the local suicide and quick quid have now cleared of being involved. This will be our sponsor on a two year deal.
just when you thought the shirt sponsor couldn't get worse.

Re: Club Rebranding
You really couldn't make that up. So, Phil, on what did the deal hinge? Well, Mark, on the details of an inquest really, but everything's fine and dandy and we're going to brand the kids shirts too this time.Mr. Black wrote:According to the daily mail, Bolton have agreed a sponsorship deal with payday loan company quick quid. the reason it was delayed is because Bolton were waiting for the results of inquest into the local suicide and quick quid have now cleared of being involved.
