Have the club announced a schedule yet?
Only, one of the lads at our place signed for Chester earlier this week. Anyhow, he's told me that they're playing us in a friendly on July 27th. I knew nowt about it.

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
The Shrewsbury game .... with a first team squad playing ... may be even more interesting & only 30 minutes South of here. I may enjoy the pre-season.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Well, Godson, the one that plays for Derbyshire nippers, is due to appear in this inter-county nippers' do at Shrewsbury school at around the time. Stay in touch.bobo the clown wrote:The Shrewsbury game .... with a first team squad playing ... may be even more interesting & only 30 minutes South of here. I may enjoy the pre-season.

Just be doing the Shrewsbury game.

booking tickets in advance + having a railcard literally doubles the amount of games I can do each season. What website did you use Adam?adamworthy2002 wrote:Got my train tickets for Shrewsbury booked!

The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Dunno about Adam, but I usually use Red Spotted Hanky. They tend to give out codes for £10 discounts, a few times a year. Not sure if you can use them with a railcard, but it might be worth a try.bwfcdan94 wrote:booking tickets in advance + having a railcard literally doubles the amount of games I can do each season. Depends on the journey, if it's just one train company I'll just use their website direct to avoid booking fees.Burnden Paddock wrote:Dunno about Adam, but I usually use Red Spotted Hanky. If it's multiple, I'll just get it from thetrainline.com.

cheers. I generally use national rail as a lot of the time as you say you are using more than one rail company.adamworthy2002 wrote:Depends on the journey, if it's just one train company I'll just use their website direct to avoid booking fees.Burnden Paddock wrote:Dunno about Adam, but I usually use Red Spotted Hanky. Really pleased they'll be coming to Carlisle. Looking forward to that one. If anyone is up for it then I'll be around for a beer pre-game

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
Given the success of last season's Tour de Ecosse I can't believe they're not coming back up here this year.

If some posters on here had their way, this would be the only pre season game our 1st team would be allowed to play inmrkint wrote:We've added another friendly to the pre-season schedule. Real Betis at home. Friday 26 July, ko 8pm
