Honestly. You go over there, taking their jobs, and make no effort to absorb the culture. I bet you'd support England against them at cricket as well...

The cricket you get here is all bloomin India and Pakistan. Pakistan play half their matches here. England barely get a mention  As for the culture...well, I go to the malls and pay over the odds for everything. Is there any other culture here in which to partake?

They just have them electric boxes on them nowadays. No riders. You'd have to go find yourself some proper desert dwelling Arabs in Yemen or somewhere for that.

Sounds like you are in the UAE mate, I love watching the footy over there. End to end track meets. Bani Yas is always good if you want to see an attacking side.

They used to race the camels with children on the back of them didn't they?

They start them young, but these days once they hit their late teens they're only interested Lamborghinis and Ferraris! A 20 year old managed to slice his Ferrari in 2 using speed and a tree the other day, just round the corner from where I live. He's no longer with us to make the insurance claim...

I didn't mean Arab kids, heaven forbid, they used to import Bangladeshi kids for the purpose.

Just reading the minutes from this latest focus group

http://www.bwfc.co.uk/documents/support ... 959030.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Wifi:
One of the main problems being that
water and Wi-Fi do not mix. As an outdoor Stadium the weather is a major factor. Also the volume of people on
matchdays creates difficulties as human bodies are made up of 70% water.

Dunno what on Earth they are doing to the North Stand

RG advised of the progress within the North Stand family area. The X-boxes are now in place, the cinema zone is
ready and most of the fan-memory boards are in place.

Music/announcer
Matchday entertainment was discussed with RG confirming that a new matchday announcer has been recruited
and will start work at the friendly game against Real Betis on Friday 26
th
July. The new announcer will be on the
pitch, prior to the game and at half-time, interacting with the crowd and introducing new competitions and
activities. A new sound system is being installed ahead of the first match of the season that will help deliver a
more audible and powerful pre-match build up.

It was confirmed that the pre-match music has been chosen, with the suggestion from RG that rather than
announcing at a meeting that the attendees hear it at the same time as other supporters at the first match of
the season.
Can't wait to hear it omg!

Also lots of stuff about supporter charters, lotteries etc. blah blah

North Stand upper is now the new "Bartercard family stand". Presumably why they've put Xboxes etc in there.

OK .... so who are these people, do we know any of them, how did they get the gig and what is their angle ? At least 4 are 'a pair' so that's not as broad as it may be.
Supporters:
Vince Hankinson, Kevin Pilling, Claire Wright, Steve Rammond, Mike O’Neill, Mike Beatty, Kevin Rainford, Rob Muirhead, Judith Berry, Frank Berry, Gareth Robinson, Steve Greenhalgh, Steve Culshaw, Emma Culshaw. James Kilfoyle, Simon Nightingale, Jonathan Ramsey, Ian Smith, Philip Heys, David Roberts, Andrew Rushton,
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Xboxes aren't affected by water?
