Haha, I almost said the same thing only to realise that it did indeed have a few small steps!! Let's be honest though - Bolton makes a mockery of this modest frontage!thebish wrote:oh yes it does - albeit it not very grand steps!Bruce Rioja wrote:It doesn't have any steps. Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
So, am I allowed to sum up the summer transfer season?
It would appear after a lot of stuff, some of which I understood, and some of which flew right by me in a whooshifer sort of way, that the end result is:
Same old (young ginger) goalkeeper who is neither great nor shite.
A back four you'd pay the mafia to shoot if they were insured for enough but of whom individually you couldn't trust to stop a blindfolded pig going through their legs even if armed with a shotgun (the defender not the pig).
Eight million different and completely non-complementary midfielders.
A handful of forwards, most of whom are proven non-goalscorers, along with a couple of 'hopefuls'.
Does that do our summer Dougie business justice, or am I being too reasonable?

You forgot the new back room staff who'll be able to give us a much more expert analysis of why the above mentioned stars are injured / off form (more than normal) etc...Lost Leopard Spot wrote:So, am I allowed to sum up the summer transfer season?

Ah, Spotty, the unmistakable whiff of pre-season optimism. If you feel like that now wait till we've lost 3 and drawn one of our first 4 games.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

“I don’t think we have finished our business. It baffles me that we start the season on August 3 but the Premier League doesn’t start for another two weeks and the Premier League boys are holding all the players."

Delighted by that, presume somebody has mentioned Sordell has gone out on loan to Charlton. Two great decisions by our Dougie.ChrisC wrote:Bolton Wanderers Official

The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
So the Sordell deal is confirmed as a season long loan.
I hope there's someability to recall built into that, I'd rather like him to start firing after all. Would've thought it would be a more short term thing but hey ho...
