That gregus is interesting. Given he played some pre season and we are hardly flush with centre mids i thought he may be around the squad tomorrow. Clearly not if he played tonight.

Would like a 442 think craig davies looked sharp and deserves a shout up top. Ngog needs some games as well. Take it Eagles wont be involved after getting kicked off the park saturday.

Idealism of the very worst type.

There will be no World peace while people use salt in pans for poaching eggs, cider is abused by strange fruit and ice or while blueberries reign over whinberries.

I'm off to Shrewsbury tonight just because I can ... and it's a lovely town ... and I like their strip.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Bolton a banging bet at 5/6. With the Dev squad playing last night im guessing Dougie will go more or less full strength however giving a couple of the youngsters a go. I think we will win this one 3-1. Massive chance for the likes of Hall and Craigggggggg Davies to show what they can do. Cant beat a cup run. COYWM

I'm guessing we will be able to listen to this one on the radio online as it's not a league match, is that how it works?

Looks to me that DF is going to play the strongest team available!!

I think we fell out of love with the cup competitions under BSA as he paid lip service to them in order to stay in the PL and it worked. Under OC we got a bit of cup fever back until the fateful semi. If we went for it season after season fans would be more willing to put their hand in the pocket and go to watch. Looks like DF so far wants to go and win every match which IMHO is the right way to go about it.

I'll wait to see what he actually picks. I suspect a mixture. I'll clarify I don't want us to lose or owt. Just not overly bothered.

Main thing is no injuries or suspensions for me.

Anyway, if you want an unusual forecast I've discovered that our cleaner at work does the I-Ching as a supplementary living. As a taster she cast her sticks for me to predict the outcome of tonight's game:
She got
Image
Hexagram 4 "Youthful Folly"

developing into:
Image
Hexagram 56 "The Wanderer"

She tried to 'explain' what it all meant, but basically from what I understand of it, she's keeping her options open so she can claim her reading had meaning whatever the outcome.
I thought I'd post her reading in case anybody else can make more sense of it

That is a very large heap of bollocks there Bruce. I think I'll wait first to see if in tonight's game we get any Youthful Folly followed by any Wanderer. We might

I'd like to see managers state their intentions for the cup competitions at the start.

Then the fans could go/stay away depending on their feelings. If they went and were treated to a reserve team for first team ticket prices at least they'd know before they set off.

I'd like to see SCD up front for this. I've only seen him in short bursts but when I see him I like him. He always makes himself available, always wants the ball and I think given a run could be a steady goal scorer.

Play him tonight, let him bag a couple and then see what Doogle does for the weekend.

I too always used to enjoy trips to Shrowesbury. Lovely part of the world.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.
