''Amazing! Out of nothing Bolton are level. A quick throw, Kevin Nolan keeps play alive in the box and finds Kevin Davies on the left who lashes a shot under Oliver Kahn.''

Marvin Sordell scored for Charlton last night.
Worth a punt?

it's a wee while since we've been linked with ANYONE - even tentatively!

Dougie did say after the Tranmere game that he would be trying to bring some more players in. Hopefully that happens and we get some new faces.thebish wrote:it's a wee while since we've been linked with ANYONE - even tentatively!

Vaz Te has handed in a transfer request.
Get him, Dougie. It's his year.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
The contractual implications of actually handing in a request can he very significant. The player loses percentages, 'loyalty' bonus', etc. Hence some of the bllx we see when a playet is obviously manoeuvring for a move but won't say the words.mrkint wrote:Vaz Te has handed in a transfer request.

If Bambi had he must have an option lined up. Wonder where that is ?
For sure that DF ain't adding another forward.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Leeds heavily linked with Vaz Te. Not sure if that's more a back up plan for if McCormack leaves or if they intend to bring him in anyway.
Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Hall tribunal today so lets hope we don't have to pay fortunes for him and we might be able to spend a few more pennies.

Hmm, that might explain a few things.

Have a feeling that is one reason Dougie hasn't used him as much as some would have wanted.Lord Kangana wrote:Hmm, that might explain a few things.
Doesn't do us any good if he gets man of the match and scores goals in the days leading upto the tribunal.
West Ham will be wanting around 2 million I reckon.. We will end up paying around 750k.
Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
News on one of the less reputable twitter feeds is that we've bid £650k for Jose Baxter
Pfffft.

What on God's Earth would we be wanting yet another striker for ?

We are a striker short. Beckford, Ngog are our only two fit senior strikers.bobo the clown wrote:What on God's Earth would we be wanting yet another striker for ?
Judging from Tuesday Eaves isn't up to it yet.
Given how often NGog seems to miss games we are definitely short there.
As we are out wide, at full back and at centre back.
