I agree with you but then you remember Jordan Rhodes went to Rovers at the height of Venky's ridiculousness - the tw*tLord Kangana wrote:Merely a reference to the events of the weekend. Lose horribly, public criticism of players, supposed frustration of the manager at a u-turn by the board at not backing him in th market (I can only quote BWFCi as a source on this, but he says its direct from the managers mouth). Apparently financial ruin, bottom of the league, 5 losses on the spin.
If I were an outside observer, I'd be concluding it looked a little like turmoil.

This bloke is posting about avoiding a perfectly decent war and getting Megson back.
He'll be encourging us to vote for a European super-state shortly.

Now't decent in wasting more cash and lives on people who will after a given period contrive to kill us all, just wait till they do then Nuke 'um!
I was half tongue in cheek on Megson but we need someone like him to get us up then feck 'um off

Re: Freedman out!
Maybe that's it! Playing central midfielders on the right wing! Meggo had Joey O and Gav McCann, OC had Mavies, and Freedman's lost it and gone for DPratz. He's done!

Re: Freedman out!
TBF Mavies was not a central midfielder until he came to Bolton, he played on the wing at Wolves.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

I imagine this is because in Britain we don't know what to do with players like Mark Davies and always shove them out wide...bwfcdan94 wrote:TBF Mavies was not a central midfielder until he came to Bolton, he played on the wing at Wolves.

Re: Freedman out!
Having a chat with a Palace ST holder this morning who described the feeling after the first 6/7 matches of last season as - 'we looked awful, unfit and disorganised, set up to defend with incompetent defenders. Fans were calling for Freedmans head and there were rumblings of the board lining up a replacement...then it clicked and the same players just seemed to 'get it'(?!?!) and the mood around the whole club changed within a fortnight'
Asked if this was due to having a future United winger on their books - Not at all... was all down to formation and organisation.
Inspired a little bit of hope in me so i thought i'd share.

Anyone recalling Jamie Pollock's sterling efforts on the right wing would support this suggestion...Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Prufrock wrote:Maybe that's it! With the somewhat unforgiving nature of our bedsheet and pitchfork department, could you make that next match instead?onlywanderer wrote:Having a chat with a Palace ST holder this morning who described the feeling after the first 6/7 matches of last season as - 'we looked awful, unfit and disorganised, set up to defend with incompetent defenders. Hopefully lightening strikes twice. I am still of the opinion that Palace would have gone up automatically had Freeman stayed.onlywanderer wrote:Having a chat with a Palace ST holder this morning who described the feeling after the first 6/7 matches of last season as - 'we looked awful, unfit and disorganised, set up to defend with incompetent defenders. It's what he and we are not doing right now that bothers me!

Freedman should be sacked before the Derby game. He's a clueless manager and we're going nowhere positive with him in charge.

Be interesting to hear the views of those that went. Sounded like the same old inept shite, but maybe someone can give us a teeny glimmer of hope

That implies I get some satisfaction out of us losing, which I don't.thebish wrote:you just couldn't wait, could you?

And who exactly do we get to replace him?SmokinFrazier wrote:Freedman should be sacked before the Derby game. He's a clueless manager and we're going nowhere positive with him in charge.
It costs money to get a good manager in, which we do not have. I'm not saying that players are all to blame, but Dougie has had a terrible squad handed to him.... and had no money to get better in.
Re: Freedman out!
Have a look at the top of the table and let us know how much they've spent. Blaming the lack of funds and the quality of the squad is a lame excuse.xxxxxx wrote:I'm not saying that players are all to blame, but Dougie has had a terrible squad handed to him.... and had no money to get better in.

Sorry, but my sympathies lie with Smokin's position. Not sure I want to be there, but I am.SmokinFrazier wrote:That implies I get some satisfaction out of us losing, which I don't.thebish wrote:you just couldn't wait, could you?
