And tomorrow "England expects" (Trafalgar Day and all that). Well one point above the drop Zone. Charlton and Brum won so we do indeed look like we're in the doggie stuff. We really need some kind of miracle cos once the loanees go back we'll have the same couldn't give a toss mess as previous. Got the Tractor Boys next. That should prove interesting.bristolwanderer wrote:Well we all of expected today, thebish wrote:aye - and a point is two fewer than I'd have expected today...bristolwanderer wrote:Point is a point..

Another poor result but, more significantly, a dire performance. We were coming off a win, had a long break to get ready for this match, we were playing a side who are useless and haven't won yet...and yet we scrape a draw against a side who had 10 men for ten minutes.
Pathetic.
Pathetic.
Re: Do Owls poo in the Reebok woods?
I am decisively unhappy with 2 dropped points to a winless team at home. Especially as it seems they deserved those points more than us from what I've heard. It's completely unacceptable and the clock is ticking down on Dougie's reign now I'm afraid. There's only so much shit you can put up with. Few more games to turn it round but no more than 3, sadly because I no longer believe he can.

After the enforced two week holiday I was just about to remind the old grey cells who we had next, so thanks for that timely intervention...Gravedigger wrote:And tomorrow "England expects" (Trafalgar Day and all that). Very poor performance IMO....but TBH we should all be used to that by now, tactically abysmal from the manager (sorry apprentice) yet again -I'm almost at the stage where I don't actually look at him as our manager, rabbit caught in the headlights - we look absolutely leaderless at times on & off the pitch and I get the feeling that Freedman has no respect at BWFC
Something is very wrong at this club behind the scenes, no passion, drive, energy, commitment or more worryingly ability. That team today should have more than enough to beat that Sheff Weds team.
I don't know whether its a piss poor manager or a team who simply can't be arsed but I'm at the stage where I'm almost past caring - how much further can this club decline, quite a bit judging by the middle 60 mins today, if they can't be arsed why should we.

I give Freedman more credit than he's worth. It's a failing of mine to overrate his ability.thebish wrote:SmokinFrazier wrote:Another poor result but, more significantly, a dire performance. this and then some.......... very dissapointed today. As someone mentioned earlier, it's Sheff Wed, not Real Madrid. I've got a 'schoolboys' FA coaching badge; and I could have managed to get us as many wins as we have to date with the squad we have available.

I've noticed that. You need to stop your Dougie love-in and accept reality.

Not sure what if anything is "wrong behind the scenes" or necessarily whether Freedman has "lost respect", but the rest I have some sympathy with.Peter Thompson wrote:Very poor performance IMO....but TBH we should all be used to that by now, tactically abysmal from the manager (sorry apprentice) yet again -I'm almost at the stage where I don't actually look at him as our manager, rabbit caught in the headlights - we look absolutely leaderless at times on & off the pitch and I get the feeling that Freedman has no respect at BWFC

That was a very poor performance. They looked more composed than us most of the game, we often had the ball and could find no willing runner, no one to pass to so went backwards. I lost count of the number of times we went across the back four and hit a pass under little or no pressure, less than twenty yards, behind the player it was intended for. So instead of switching play, it stopped it. Beckford and Eagles both missed sitters, but we couldn't have grumbled had they won.
No point listing who I thought was poor, they'd all get a mention.
Kudos to Baptiste, stunning headed to beat Bogdan.

Your fridge can't possibly be large enough for that performance.CrazyHorse wrote:Let's just say I'm regretting not getting a bottle of cheap scotch in too.Worthy4England wrote:But how many has he dropped off.CrazyHorse wrote:The Asda man has just dropped off today's supply so I'm good to go.
"today's supply" sounds like at least 2-1 to them, but if you've doubled up a bit, it could be 3 or 4....
