Commentator's talking a draw. Not enough, we want three point out of this one. Time to shine. Weather's a bit sharpish apparently, Petrov would definitely have had the gloves on today. Running on the spot..begin..and..we're away.

Throw near their box and....Mills nearly boots an opponent in the mush and now Kamara, Chungy and the miracle man (McN) ...a bit of a cock up has to be salvaged at the expense of a corner. Chungy clears and hit another face. Close do there. We get it forward but it's cleared. Dans starts us off but it it just gets us a throw. Dans again but they clear. Ream does well again and we attack but cleared again.

Ref's got a card out...a yellow for them after a challenge on McN. Lonergan bangs the free kick forward, Dans and Pratley get involved but it's cleared. Ream clears again before we have a bit of "over to you Claude" passing. They have a do but Chungy clears well. They hit Chungy again and Ream sends a snow catcher straight up and causes a bit of a panic. Meanwhile, at the other end they clear it and come again. Spearing does well dealing with the winger and we get a goalkick. Pratley lifts one and gives a free away and then they get another yellow for a rugby on Chungy. Bad tackle....Free kick again and Chungy's off right now.

Attack by them is eventually grabbed by Lonergan after a bit of good play from the Watters. And.....Dans comes...and Beckford has his head in his hads after a possible missed chance. We come again with Chungy who seems okay. Even game says the man as our fans say hello.
Mills gives away a corner after handing a few choice words to our defence and eventually a shot goes well over for a goalkick. Ream clears well and we get a throw. Chungy...Baptiste...and Beckford savages the keeper but, since it's not 1958, he gets a card, luckily yellow.

Spearing gets good words after clearing well. Lonergan launches one but they gather and clear. Now Spearing...and cleared. Chungy....good cross and....Dans scuffs it wide from ten yards. McN sets us off but they gather it and come visiting....and Mills has to clear. They come again and Lonergan grabs it but it's offside. Livening up a bit now...

Good start fo the Whites, says the man (all Whites today). A Vulcan bomber must have passed over and dropped some snow but we're clear again now. Beckford hurried things a bit there when he had time, but it all sounds pretty even so far. McN, Dans...Mills, Ream...Chungy...Mills...and Dans.....effort is blocked after good work from mCN. Now they have a dab but it's cleared. They come again and get into our box and then Pratley gets a double bounce and gets it away. Throw to us in their half and now a free kick us. And.....Spearing..and...cleared. Busy sounding game and now they're visiting but Spearing clears, Pratley....doesn't get a corner. 1,000 Whites fans mentioned. Sounds like somebody's vaccuming the ............and Beckford scores......1=0... :oyea:

Almuni shakes his head after cocking it up, but who cares. We lead.

Beckford seems to be on a great roll at the moment!! Even if it was a cock up by Almunia least he had the reactions to latch onto it. Hopefully it was just a case of finding his feet and playing regularly again :D

Pleasant surprise for me too. I'm not used to this Beckford chap game in game out.

Watford come and oooohhhhh, Kamara clears after a side footed effort from them. They bounce right back at us cos they didn't like that at all. They come and we clear. Lonergan showing off by actually catching the ball (just joking) Rasping attack and a long one sails over the bar to Lonnergan's relief (and mine) Here they come again and.....win a corner. And...it's hooked over the ball....Spearing sets us off after a bit of home pressure. McN gets a cracking header back to Lonnergan before Beckford tries to get us moving. Whites fans give Almuni an ironic cheer before Spearing decks an opponent. McN..and....Pratley partial clearance before they come again. Hope we're not sitting on our lead (?) nah, they're playing neat, patient football (the homes) and Ream has to gaive away a throw...and....they come again and Almuni almost gives it to Beckford. Now they have to clear and wouldn't it be nice if we got another.......Chungy goes down again before they attack and Lonnergan has to be sharp in clearing. All happening with half-time looming.....

Almuni slides out and robs Beckford and they clear and.....ohhhh, Dans does well but it comes to nought. We still have it and now we get forward. We're playing a bit of keepball before they get a throw. And.....Nosworthy starts em off again, Mills half clears and then gets a chat from the ref after getting pulled for a free kick. And.....we're all back and.......it's a Wigan two point special......Kamara tries to find Beckford but they win it and get another corner after a deflection. And......cleared and Beckford...Chungy....Beckford goes and looks for a free kick but get nowt. Chungy sets us off after a clearance but Pratley passes to nowhere. And...they set off again and..we clear via Baptiste. We get a free on the eighteen after a foul on Spearing. And.....they get it and come forward. Two added minutes and Chungy sets it going. Pratley, McN....and we play keepball again. We're doing it quite well apparently and.......offside, free to them. They set off and.....McN takes one on the head as he clears......and......Lonnergan whacks it and we go in 1-0 up. :oyea:
