All teams bad runs end at some point as did Charltons and Wiggin our string of defeats ended and I bet the opposition fans said why do they always end with us? we're crap, as do we.We are where we are in the table because that's where we deserve to be, we're not as good as some like to think we are we're a mid table team at best at the moment. I reckon when Tierney gets back and we have a settled competent back four and Dougie finally settles on who his midfield are we might progress.

no. they stopped going when allardyce were here , but used megson as an excuse.

yeah, its bobbins now but it'll sort out. at least i can tell what sport it is now. #coyle #WTF #crazyball #concede3goals .

theyre shaking like a shitting dog at home , like they did when megson were here, good job barnsley's away . #boooooooooo

Seriously though, and its difficult enough to interpret what you write, but you're blaming the crowd here for performances under both Dougie and Gary? That's what you're doing, isn't it? You smoke a lot, don't you? It'd be better if you did.

Indeed - the table doesn't lie. However, I have a ferverent belief that we're better than we're showing - when we run at sides we're difficult to live with and playing to our strength - just as Doncaster. However, Freedman isn't playing us in a way that maximises our potential. One up top at home against Charlton? Is that really where we are now? And when it becomes obvious that yesterday's system wasn't going to result in a win the stubborn c*nt doesn't change the formation, he just changes the personell, including, utterly bewilderingly to me, taking Chungy off rather than Danns to put Mavies on. Nett result of his substitutons? nothing whatsoever. Freedman's assinine attitude is simplydragging us further and further down, and I for one am not here to stoke his ego at the expense of my club.

not this time, i dont think it matters now we are already in division one, something's up with it though.

the midfield wants sorting , and i'd play beckford.

One up top doesn't mean anything though. Arsenal play with one up top, they're hardly defensive are they?

He has picked a midfield with both Medo AND Spearing at home, and often tried to get D-Pratz in there too; I have no problem with criticisms of that against sides of the shite-ness of Charlton. Yesterday though Behind Mason you had Lee, Moritz Eagles and Danns, who are all forward-thinking players.

I know Freedman has had criticism for not getting at shit teams at home, but that wasn't the case yesterday when we were the only team trying to win the game.

don't disagree that there were enough attacking players in the team yesterday, but certainly the system we play - slow build up etc negates having them on the pitch

as to charlton you make it sound like they came and shut up shop - didn't see that myself - thought they played fairly open and certainly had some good pressure spells and chances.

Whatever he does doesn't seem to matter in terms of personnel, tactics etc. We all say 'drop Knight and Wheater', 'don't play Medo and Spearing together' 'get eagles back in at home' and then it happens as we wanted it to and we're still not winning.
I can only assume that the coaching is wrong or he can't inspire the players. Or maybe it's something else, but whichever way you look at it we're going nowhere and he doesn't have the answers. His own signings have been benched in favour of short term loanees because they have become worse players under him. It's fecking desperate.

That's the thing. Nobody is coming and parking the bus, neither is anyone coming and blitzing us. I've just seen lots of steady teams take us to pieces because we act so timidly. Dougie's adherence and dogmatic, pigheaded approach means we don't change, don't try anything. Timidity is the word that most readily comes to mind. That and pedestrian. He's clearly either failing to motivate the players or he's purposefully coaching them to never get out of first gear.

If he truly put fitness as a top priority, I wish he'd hurry up and do something about it, instead of keeping the cones for training in neat stacks of five or something, because I see no change whatsoever.

Err, it does when you have personel that can't play that way to any telling effect! As displayed amply, once a-fecking-gain, yesterday!

Why don't we just play simple football? All this 4-5-1 crap works if you've got good, fast players. Which we don't have.

Playing Mason on his own is pointless, he tried his best but he's half the size of most of his markers. Play someone along side him and give him a chance.

It was just boring crap against a very average side.

I don't know if the education we're getting is in the meanings of pragmatism, existentialism and belligerence but there are fewer and fewer pupils attending every week.

Due to contractual reasons I was unable to listen to this particular episode of 'Learn with Lennie' (ask your mum) but was Hall brought because someone was injured or was Dougie expecting him to score in his four minutes on the pitch? Did he even get a touch in that time?

How did Eagles play? Why take Mason off? I thought he was going to 'set the Reebok on fire'. Or was that literally in an attempt to keep the freezing fans warm and interested?

Did Davies do anything when he came on?

Why do we bother?
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

Fast Eddie cannot ignore the fact that both results AND style of play added to a general dissatisfaction is losing him money and potentially long-term fans.

Despite it being the traditionally low-gate weekend attendances are tumbling. Only 2 wins at home since April can't be helping, but the style of football he's offering up won't encourage attendance even if results were going well.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
