Be quiet Dan. You're making things up again.

Best I can tell, half a dozen contracts are up come the end of this season:

Jan Gregus.
Tyrone Mears.
Zat Knight.
Tim Ream.
Chris Eagles.
David Ngog.

I wonder, what's the fate of each come May?

All but Ream will be going ... & who'd have expected to read that only 3 months ago ?

And maybe a few of those in January so we can earn a small fee and free up funds for a promotional push.

Ngog will be gone January you would think. Must be on big big wages coming in from Liverpool. Eagles will depend on attitude and form.

Dougie gave an interview recently in which he praised Eagles attitude but that could just be a cover up.

Well, it looks like Aberdeen was a step too far for him.

Did anyone ever check that he is, in fact, a footballer and not some painter & decorator who happened to be at Ibrox one day when things went a bit tits-up ?

Crazy to think about the effort we put in to sign him. I genuinely thought we were on to the next Messi when FIFA got involved.

Aye, I mean, which kind of moron signs kids from Scotland and then sends them back without playing them?

Sometimes the lazy journalist's term "snapped up" doesn't quite seem to fit, does it ?

Pity about Wylde, and McKee, and Fraser. I'd rather their signings had worked out for us.

I can't work out the Wylde one though.

He was playing regularly (38 games), aged about 19 or 20, at Rangers. Joke as we may about "pub league" etc. that's not a poor level. He joined us & that stupid UEFA delay but then nothing. Absolutely nothing with us, 4 games on loan at Bury and then got a 3 year deal at Aberdeen which they've pulled after 6 months and only 8 games.

What's gone wrong with him ?
