Looks like Danny's after honing his time-wasting skills. (posted just before 6)

Luxembourg calling...

Just need that Andorran left-back now and we'll have had a good window.

If he comes I hope he is great.

I agree though that it's underwhelming being linked with players from Luxembourg.

So Dougie's solution is to loan some youngster no one has heard of from Spuds and to sign a 20 year old who plays for one of the worst national teams in the world. Nice one Dougie.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Too Be fair Dan, the lad from Spurs is on a work experience loan where he can't feature in senior games, and we won't have paid owt for him. I get the impression its a have a look at him before we decide whether to loan him "For real".
As for the other lad, what difference does it make as to which country he plays for??? he can't suddenly decide to play for Germany. Its a nonsense comment that mate!!! There are one or two decent players who do play for naff international sides, but that doesnt mean they're a lesser player.

Tell me that's a joke.

Signing international wingers when we have the worst defence in the entire world, does feel a little like having a tiara and no shire horse to put it on!

Andorra are a much weaker team then Hungary or Wales. Its like comparing Germany to northern Ireland. I have actually seen Andorra play and they are a team of dirty b*stards.

The principle remains exactly the same, Daniel. You're disregarding an individual player by dint of his country's ranking. Like I say, would you apply that completely ridiculous logic to say Gareth Bale? What about George Best?

I get the gist of what Dan is saying, I can think of good players who have come from Hungary and Wales but I am struggling with Luxembourg.

In fact in my lifetime, Luxembourg have always been perennially sh*te.

I know what he's trying to say, as a team they are sh*te but who's to say an individual that plays for them is not going to be better than what we have in our team? Its just a bit dismissive of a player if he doesnt play for one of the top countries!!!

Ah, but I had stay in Esch-sur-Alzette once, and it's a shithole, as Daniel will doubtlessly attest ;)
