According to a certain Scottish journalist, McNaughton will not be allowed out on loan again.

He got a few minutes tonight, looked terrible. I've not seen many slower forwards, when tried to take on a defender he resembled a train pulling out of the station.

A train pulling another train through quicksand with the handbrake left on?

He's got pedigree though.

as I said earlier - I thought he did OK - looked to be in the mix, kept the ball well - not as easily pushed off it as Cravies is - brought advancing midfielders into play - had one particularly nice turn and lay off whilst surrounded by 3 players.. not ready to write him off yet...

He's played the last 3 for them. Why would you shift someone who was in your 1st XI on loan?

Sky are saying Wigan are 'believed to be leading the chase' for Dawson. That would upset me greatly. Taking with a pinch of salt though, no source.

Dawson likes Bolton... though to be honest you couldn't blame him for steering clear.

I fear the same but I think we can pretty much guarantee he will start every game. May just make a difference.

And he'll get plenty practice!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

If he regains last seasons form, he would start every game for Wigan.

Possibly but he knows he will start for us where he may hope to start for them.

Look, just let me clutch at straws while we have any left.

That the left-back? Can't have done his agent any harm when Ream went off...
