Another one who would be dejected here if Mark Davies went - The only shining light really these days. I suspect his injuries are the only thing keeping him here. We'll have to ask Pru if that qualifies as ironic..

Look on the bright side, at least that's the second half of the seasons excuse in early.

I'd be interested (if such a thing even exists) if there are any statistics doing the rounds as to how many teams have had fairly instant success after a complete squad overhaul. In plain English, anyone ever get promoted with an entirely new squad?

Mark Davies is great.

And he's handsome.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.

I like players who shine like a light, reminds of Diddy David Lee.

First bullshit rumour of the day

Billy in Bolton: Just seen Tony Hibbert getting off the train at Middlebrook near Reebok Stadium. Could this be the deal of the day?

Look at it thus way .... if he loans a player of around 5' 7" then we'll be playing more on the ground, won't we.

.... & if we do sell Mavies I may just pack it in.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Err no. He was being flanked by two leviathans when we played Charlton and we still kept on twatting it up to him. It were embarrassing, it were.

Anyway - here's a link to Mark Oils's live transfer blog;

Yes, yes, yes. I get all that - but 'leviathan' is one of my words of the day. The other one is 'moist'.

You'll need Pru's express permission first before using it mind. We could get bogged down in bureaucracy.

I'd love to know what we are paying him. I struggle to think of a goal he's created or scored this season. Contributes nowt IMO.

I think he's trying to re-sign Mason in hope and desperation. Hoping that he'll come good and prove the doubters wrong, because that seems to be his shtick.

Chungy looks like a lost soul. I'd like him to stay and recapture his abilities. He may be one of those players who would honestly benefit from a move.
