Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I really can't get motivated for this any more.
We'll lose this 3-1 and we will drift ever closer to the drop.

4-1 Ipswich....but we will have double the amount of side ways passes than them.
Freedman will say that its not his tactics and that eventually our luck will change (repeat to fade....). He'll say that he wanted to play 4-6-0 but he didn't have enough midfielders so he was forced to go 4-5-1, he understands that the fans want 4-4-2 but will say that they know fcuk all and that the fans need to give if him time to complete his apprenticeship and that when he does he'll put a side together that will compete in the top half of Div 1 (in front of 4,000 at the Reebok).
As usual Gartside will say & do fcuk all and continue to pick up his £10k a week (for doing what ?)....blaming FFP, as like Freedman nothing is ever his fault.

I read £400k p.a. so more like £8k but still! I wonder what the average for a Championship CEO is? I realise he's got more on his plate than most but struggle to think there's not a young ambitious guy out there who could make a difference. I think eddie has got too pally.jaffka wrote:gartside on 10k a weekPeter Thompson wrote:4-1 Ipswich....but we will have double the amount of side ways passes than them.

Re: Ipswich Match Thread
Bit biased coming from a supporter, but £400k is absolutely ridiculous. Surely as you say someone younger is out there and wouldn't demand that money. PG is living in the past and when he leaves Bolton I can't see him getting a position at any other club at this level.LeverEnd wrote:I read £400k p.a. so more like £8k but still! Re: Ipswich Match Thread
OK I'm looking forward to today. Nothing to do with football mind, off for a Wetherspoons breakfast then hitting the ale trail between Stalybridge and Batley all day for a 30th.
It's worth noting that last time I did this we beat Hull 4-1, maybe there could be something like that in Worthy's tea leaves?

And that's before his bonus. Didn't he take about £700k last year? Making him one of the clubs too 5 earners?LeverEnd wrote:I read £400k p.a. so more like £8k but still! Re: Ipswich Match Thread
WTF did he get a bonus for? Piling on the debt and making (more) shit managerial appointments?
I'm no socialist and I'm all for performance related bonuses, but Gartside should not be creaming anything off the club when its in dire straits. Hope Eddie wakes up soon...its his man.
