Nice to see 4-4-2 working again.

If we'd lost you'd have hammered him for being too negative and playing no wingers.....

Sky Sports News just showed highlights of all the Championship games, and one league one game... But didn't show Bolton.

Correct. So let's hammer him for playing both the twins, no Danns and no wingers.

It came off. That's great, but he MUST, surely see the way forward ... and that we needn't be having such a repair job to do.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Did the Pratley/Danns switch have a noticeable effect our performance?

No, 4-4-2 is how we should play so if we'd lost, I wouldn't have blamed the system. I haven't when we've lost playing it in the past. As long as Freedman picks players who can do a job out wide, I have no issue with his selection, whoever it is.

I just hope Freedman sticks with it. If he does, then I'll praise him for going with a system which suits us more and is far more successful...but given how he's shunned this tactic in the past, I'm not too hopeful.

The difference today is we had two strikers who both worked their socks off, both scored and in general they were exceptional.

You'd be a fool not to use them together again.

However, we haven't had a combination like that before now this season.

Not particularly in my view, but it was only after 20 minutes or so.....

Pratley didn't get much change to get into it but danns was excellent.

Really enjoyed today, thought mason and navies were outstanding and there were no bad performances. Made Watford look a poor side.

Best we've played this season by a mile.

We played a sort of 4-2-2-2 and it worked really well, Mason and Juke both fantastic and complimented each other well, we could easily have scored 4 more (what was Lee doing???) 2 strikers definitely the way forward.

I doubt that system will work against every side though as Watford were utterly dreadful, on a par with Millwall.

Enjoyed the game today ... though still on edge until the final whistle. Onwards and upwards!

This was the best home performance of the season.

The most joyful thing was the threat up front with both (as in TWO) strikers having excellent games - especially Jukey (3 in 4 and a missed pen, that right?)...

After that the 60 mins we got of Mark Davis showed he is a class act in this league.

CYL was close to abysmal in his little cameo.

Mills had a hugely coursgeous game and Wheater makes me frightened every time we're attacked...

Ream improved (a necessary improvement)...

Spearing had a better game than most and another little push on and we may have the player we hoped for...

We were better in the second half than the first (!!!!!!)...

I am relieved, happy and about to eat pasta with a £15 Portuguese Red... Meant for a special occasion...

This is one... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Well, I wasn't expecting that. The two up top worked tirelessly and very well together to excellent effect. This is the first game this season as far as I can remember in which we played consistently and steadily for the full 90minutes. Too many times this season we've started games well only to crumble after 20 minutes and descend into farce.

Was worried that if they got one then they'd get another soon after, but we actually managed to see a game out.

Just a couple of things though. Mason - I wish he'd try and stick his foot through it rather than try to dink the keeper on one-on-ones. Freedman - to say in your post match interview that you've wanted to play two up top all season but haven't at any point had two strikers available is yet another insult.
