Re: Freedman out!
The article says that Cardiff knew of the leak two days prior and still fielded the same team. It can't have worried them too much then.Thor wrote:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... -leak.html

Now want the match replaying. mmmm
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Freedman out!
The issue isn't that Freedman's going around telling tales - it's that he's friends with Solskjaer.
I have no issues with his tactics, team selection or anything else.
But friends with a DMB? Dougie, that is too much.

it were only about 10 minutes ago when Sammy Allardyce were best mates with Alex Ferguson .Puskas wrote:The issue isn't that Freedman's going around telling tales - it's that he's friends with Solskjaer.

Touched a nerve there.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Freedman out!
not really, just couldnt tell if it was a joke .
the last bit strikes more biting than the off handed 'we've got other things going on now' way i intended it to be. the palace fans seem pissed off, too, and i dont get that either.
*something something 0-0 at charlton our worst result in history*

Re: Freedman out!
You're quite right. And though it's neither popular nor politically correct to say so, Allardyces should have been sacked in disgrace the moment he started trying to pal around with Mr Alex Ferguson.a1 wrote:it were only about 10 minutes ago when Sammy Allardyce were best mates with Alex Ferguson .Puskas wrote:The issue isn't that Freedman's going around telling tales - it's that he's friends with Solskjaer.

We should heed the words of Danny Blanchflower. I can't remember them exactly, but they were something like:
The game's not about winning and losing. It's not even about glory or any of that bollocks. It's about hating TheFuckingStretfordShite. All else is vanity.
Word. Etc.

Re: Freedman out!
He's Scottish, he's 'pragmatic', he's 'doing a great job', he's 'up and coming', he's dour, he doesn't mind firing off club legends and surrounds himself with the tat he's had at previous clubs.
He playes players out of position, he plays them one week and drops them the next and then plays them again.
He's ideal.
Moyes out!

I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

It's not best, is it? Not very classy of Cardiff to name him as the informant - but then, nothing about Cardiff's very classy.bwfcdan94 wrote:How on earth have we been dragged into this ffs.

Re: Freedman out!
I think Freedman did the right thing.. If he didn't send it on, he could possibly be held partly complicit in any investigation. As it stands, he's done what was probably expected of him in the circumstances

Yep, it's weird. It's not even like Moody was there when Freedman was and so he accidentally texted 'Manager' instead of 'Manager(3)' in his phone.wigan white wrote:Why the hell did he get sent this info anyway and what use was it for him??? Re: Freedman out!
Thats the bit that I didnt understand as to why would Moody have Freedmans number in the first place??? I know they might still be mates and stuff but still why on earth would Moody send it to Freedman? he may aswell have sent it to Cilla Black for all the good it would have done Freedman.Prufrock wrote:Yep, it's weird. Re: Freedman out!
Maybe it is some sort of club phone rather than a completely personal one per se? Old numbers stored on the sim? Or sommat?
