8th. Impressive away record undermined by overly cautious home tactics.

I went for top-half also-rans. I think I might have been drunk earlier.

Playoffs next year. Either Dougie will have learned a few lessons and get us there or he won't have learned and be replaced with someone made of the right stuff.

Think top half, also rans, on the basis he shouldn't be able to last 10 games of "the worst start ever" twice.
Think if he's not near the playoffs early doors, tide will turn very much against him (vocally, rather than on here) - and he'll be cheaper to shunt as he doesn't have as much Contract left as he did this year.
He has clearly (to me) shifted a hefty amount of wages off the bill, which both Coyle and Megson said they were doing, but actually didn't. I think he now loses that "excuse" that he's got unfeasibly large ones (fnarr) that are preventing us from building his team of journeymen and youngsters, that'll lead us to glory...
But I think he'll miss out on a top 6.
Signing's like Trotter, don't inspire me that he's got much of a clue, but credit for getting Juke and Mason firing.
I still know where my pitchfork is.

I've gone for 13-18. It's going to be a brilliant season though, same as this year.
Businesswoman of the year.

Shifting expensive players is only any good if you're backed to bring in the players you want and need.Worthy4England wrote:Think top half, also rans, on the basis he shouldn't be able to last 10 games of "the worst start ever" twice.

He did add that he still has a very competitive wage budget for this level, so I'm guessing he will be, just not in terms of long fat contracts for people who won't improve.BWFC_Insane wrote: Shifting expensive players is only any good if you're backed to bring in the players you want and need.

Say like Jermaine Beckford?
Or Alex Baptiste?
Or Jay Spearing?
Or Marc Tierney?
Or Wheater signing a new contract?
That kind of backing?
Or do you think we could do with signing an A380's worth of loan players?

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I'm fairly sure, given the number of times you've mentioned FFP this season, that it has other uses.BWFC_Insane wrote:Shifting expensive players is only any good if you're backed to bring in the players you want and need.Worthy4England wrote:Think top half, also rans, on the basis he shouldn't be able to last 10 games of "the worst start ever" twice.

Apparently working on tight budget is what he's good at.

Well we need two strikers like Jutkiewicz and Mason.Lord Kangana wrote:Say like Jermaine Beckford?

So that's the sort of backing I'm talking about.

Well, without stating the bleeding obvious, hasn't he already had some of that backing and signed Beckford? I'll give him Cravies as a freebie.BWFC_Insane wrote:Clearly not.Worthy4England wrote:So two strikers that aren't like Beckford and Cravies?

Panic fannies.
All the wonderful players we've already signed will lead us to glory next season, there's no need to add any extra. At all.
