I hope he's better than our previous Gaetano

This could be linked with Nixon's "Dougie's phone's been ringing" comment yesterday

No he has said it is all agent talk trying to get him a loan move to UK. Nothing in it for Bolton according to Dougie's friend.

Nixon probably said that too.

It was the BN who said that and it was referring to enquiries from clubs for our youngsters on loan.

I was hoping to open that link and find a picture of Andy Hughes done up as a coach.

Reminded me of this:

Apparently we're interested in signing Huddersfield winger and sometime Van Der Graaf Generator frontman Peter Hammill:

But not unless we shift out a midfielder or two.

We can flirt out Trotter...we've only just signed him, so he should be worth a couple of quid.

Pretty sure Iliev is a forward.

Lets do this in order of their potential for first team involvement:

GK - Boggy, Lonny. Fitzy
Def - Ream, Mills, Wheater, McNaughton, Moxey, Tierney, Dervite, Bolger, Riley, Threlkeld (is Kellet a DF?)
Mid - Spearing, Danns, Hall, Mavis, Lee, Medo, Feeney, Trott, Pratley, Vela, Lester, Youngs, Myself, The Pope, Stu Holden
Str - Beckford, Davies, Wilkinson, Iliev, Clough,

I doubt that can get us a top-6 finish.

I think we're a striker away from being capable of a top 6 finish. Squad as it stands seems a bit top of the bottom half to me.

Aye.. If we're lucky in terms of injuries, I reckon we could do summat.

By "lucky with injuries", I mean if Trotter gets injured
