Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Freedman out!
While it's true that too many post-match interviews see football managers talk bollocks, that doesn't excuse our manager who seems to excel in spouting drivel.
The fact is, the post-match interview is one of the places where the manager represents the club to the public and, indirectly, speaks to the fans about what they've just paid money to see. It can be done in an honest and perceptive way: a way which has a chance of keeping fans onside.
Here's my redraft of Dougie's post-Bury match spiel which would help him avoid seeming like a deluded dickhead or just plain dishonest.
"We gave a run out to several squad players who might well feature this season and it took them a while to gel. To their credit, Bury were the better team in the first half, but we had a chat at the break and I thought we picked up in the 2nd half. True, we needed a lucky break with the penalty to get back into it, but we kept going to the final whistle, so I reckon we earned that break. In extra time, we took control and our quality showed through, which I'm pleased about, although we need to defend set pieces better, so we'll be taking a very careful look at what went wrong with their second goal."
See? It's not that difficult.

Re: Freedman out!
if he says "this club" at any point during saturday's post match press conf , they should give him a ten year contract for being the best wind up merchant in the world.
if he says "that lot" they should double it.

Re: Freedman out!
Yeah, but back here on planet earth theres really a far greater chance of us getting Tony "I've managed the Leviathans of Stoke and Crystal Palace" Pulis than Jose Mourinho.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Freedman out!
Are we in danger of losing Douglas to Palace?
Given that he's a great manager, and Palace is really his spiritual home, wouldn't he go back there? Particular since the know-nowts and West-Stand Boo Boys have it in for him, and he has no money. Palace - a Premier League team - must surely be an attractive proposition.
And the Palace hierarchy clearly Know Football.
Will Palace try to poach our Douglas? I hope not, but maybe we should be worried.

Re: Freedman out!
What chance would that be? A manager who has just walked out on a premiership side because they'd only spent a few million is of course going to drop a division to a club with nowt at all to spend.Lord Kangana wrote:Yeah, but back here on planet earth theres really a far greater chance of us getting Tony "I've managed the Leviathans of Stoke and Crystal Palace" Pulis than Jose Mourinho.
Aye.
Zero chance with Tony and zero chance with Mourinho.

No, bish is right, McKay sees lined up or it and the issue with Pulis is that he hasn't been in control of he sending. That is run by the guy McKay had doing that at Cardiff which led to them both getting booted.
