I wonder if another team might come in with a late bid and 'snatch' him from under their noses?

I've heard he's gash anyway, why would we want him?

...according to our old friend:
Liverpool are ready to send whizz kid winger Jordon Ibe to Bolton on loan - and straight into Dougie Freedman’s side.

The 18-year-old will not figure in Brendan Rodgers’ side this season following the summer arrivals of Lazar Markovic and Adam Lallana.

However, the former Wycombe teenager is seen as a star of the future at Anfield – and Bolton chief Dougie Freedman plans to put him straight into his side.

Freedman has waited for Ibe and turned down other targets as he plans to put a new side together - and the deal could even be done tomorrow.

Ibe played 11 games in the Championship on loan at Birmingham last season, scoring once,

Wanderers will let winger Robert Hall go out on loan to give him games, with one of his old clubs Birmingham City keen to capture him.

A new side? We've talked of our quality and claim we're skint. How's he going to do that?

Jordan? I'm as big a fan of Ms Katie Price as anyone, but this is ridiculous.

Anyway, I suppose it fits. We've missed Ryo Miyaichi for the past couple of years, so it'll be nice to have a replacement.

And with the other wing in retro mode, with Liam Feeney as a Stuart Storer tribute act. Except without the pace...

Marvellous.

As a disclaimer, I should note that I've never seen this Jordan/Katie Price play football. I just want to get my boos in early. I'm prompt like that.

He's rejected other options to ensure we got him !!

Which, I assume, also means he's been quietly side-lining Hall for the past month or more. I thought he loved working with raw talent ?

Anyway I've never heard of this lad. I hope he's good and turns our season around (after 3 game. That's THREE games and we need it turning around).

How / why would we end up exploring the option of a loan for a player that's out of contract? :conf:

Because he'd stay under a rolling contract being under 23.. We'd have to pay them compo, which we obviously can't afford.. Kind of depressing really, but I've heard good things about him

He's under 23 so we'd have to pay a fee. Young players registrations are still attached to their clubs pending training compensation being agreed or set.

Because he's a young player, so even out of contract, we'd have to pay some sort of compensation for him if we wanted him permanently.

And we have no money. So can't.

I assume, anyway.

I was winding up a Liverpool-supporting friend of mine a couple of weeks ago suggesting that Dougie may come calling for Ibe. He reckoned we'd have no chance of getting him as he was first team squad material. We'll soon knock that out of the lad.

Ibe is not signed yet. Nixon is saying Derby are also interested.

Has anyone seen him play? And does anyone know why he spells his name Jordon?
