Re: Freedman out!
The sacking by text message or teletext is far better.

it would indeed! Imagine a manager whose authority and fitness for the task was so universally accepted that it was never an issue on this Forum! what on earth would we talk about??

They'll be in having a recovery session today. Light stuff around now I presume.. Does the manager have to be there for that? I imagine he had his staff briefing last night

Don't know if he's usually there Boris but he's made much play of how much hard work goes on at Euxton. It would be a bad morning to pull a sickie.

A good point. Clubs don't usually like to give The Dreaded Vote Of Confidence but this would seem to be a day for it. (Or not.)General Mannerheim wrote:Like to think there would have been a statement to the contrary by now if not?

Re: Freedman out!
I wouldn't even waste a free text message on the dobber.
He should have pulled up this morning to find all his stuff blowing about the forecourt with seagulls pecking at Lennie who'd been half shoved in a bin bag.
Don't bother sending your key back it doesn't fit anyway.

I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

Re: Freedman out!
Just on the 'back to basics' thing. I don't know if anyone else has mentined this but shouldn't the 'basics' be there all the time?
The fundamental skills or passing, moving, walking about and waving at friends in the away end should never be something you have to go back to.
He's not quitting is he? He's not going to get the sack is he?
You've got to take your hat off to the dwad.
