disappointing game. v scrappy and disjointed. our part of the crowd v quiet

just listened to NLs interview with jack dearden - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30752809" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - as usual he's pretty spot on in his appraisal - pity he's inherited the gipsy curse - apparently clough has a hamstring pull

Pissed off if he wasnt injured. To be dropped from the squad is a joke!
People saying he was injured, haven't had any confirmation yet though.
Doesn't seem like this was a good game for him to play in anyway, and perhaps Lennon knew that and chose a more physical team. I imagine Leeds would've tried to kick lumps out of a lad like Clough who'd just had such an explosive debut too.

He needs introducing gently I think...

Under DF it often felt like we were playing with 10/9 men and unfortunately that feeling has been back recently. Eidur and Heskey should not be playing together they can't do what Davies and Clayton could. i don't understand why Lennon isn't seeing this, it's concerning. I don't think we really had any chance of winning after losing clough and going 1-0 down. 5 mins in, game over! season over??? not good enough.
I think there's definitely something in that. We don't have the same legs.

The main difference pre-Neil Lennon and now isn't the stuff of miracles, which just don't happen overnight even in fairy stories, but is in attitude and belief. Neither even existed under Dougie and Lennon has changed the views of both the players and fans into believing in Bolton Wanderers again. It's all a bit two-steps up and one-back right now, but the ones back are small steps, not giant strides. Festina Lente and all that.

We were fairly poor today - though with occasional promising moments. I thought Vela was our best player.

Two differences between Lenin and Freedman - one is we battled for and fully earned a point, despite being under par. The other is the manager nailed our failings in his post-match interview (rather than talking patronising, unconvincing bullshit).

Clough has a 'slight hamstring' problem. I suspect there's some lingering doubt over Cravies's fitness, which is why we started with Heskey and Eidur. Kinda wish Tom Walker got a bit longer - another youngster who looked decent when he came on.

We're not going down, guys, not even on today's form. We'll be top half or just maybe a bit better depending on comings and goings this month.

It's largely been the same players picked for the last couple of months now and combined with the high energy game we try to play, I'm surprised legs have help up as well as they have until recently. Hopefully a couple of fresh faces and a fit again CD will give us a second wind.
