Re: Treatment table
Does anyone know how far off Tierney is from coming back? Clutching at straws with our defensive troubles.
Re: Treatment table
I don't think he will come back, he's finished as a player I've heardTails07 wrote:Does anyone know how far off Tierney is from coming back? Clutching at straws with our defensive troubles.
Re: Treatment table
Is McNaughton injured now? Lennon has said he had no options at RB on Saturday.

Be interesting to see what Mr Lennon made of all that?

Re: Treatment table
The really annoying thing about that list of injuries is how key some of those players are. It's not just a case that we've got injured players, they're really important to us; Pratley was great in the few weeks before his injury, McNaughton was solid defensively and losing him meant Vela was played out of position, Clough has been excellent, Wheater was looking better than Dervite and would be starting, both Bogdan and Lonergan have been great when in the team, Mark Davies was such a big player for us, Clayton was a bright spark under Lennon and another loss was Craig Davies. Every one of those is potential a starter.KeyserSoze wrote:So, assuming the worst about McN, Clough and (maybe) Wheater...

Lonergan
McNaughton - Wheater - Moxey - Tierney
Davies - Pratley - Trotter
Clough - Davies - Clayton
That's a team of our injured players and it's not a long way off our best team. Mills for Moxey, Ream for Tierney and Vela/Danns for Trotter are the only obvious changes but beyond that, it's perfectly fine I think.
Re: Treatment table
We're running pretty short on contracted players who are fit now. Will almost certainly need to loan in cover at centre half and possibly right back if mcnaughton and wheater are crocked . Tough on some of the loan players already brought in given the rules .
It's fortunate the bottom three are so dire. I suppose, if there is an upside, it's an opportunity to look at players from the reserves or on loan in first team action with a view to who could do a job for us next season . Must be the best off sick 11 in the championship . Hopefully When the Davies ' come back they will stay injury free.

Re: Treatment table
Not sure I'd describe Mavies as "a big player for us" He's never been fit for longer than 10 minutes to make him a 'big player'. Fit and on song yes, but apart from a few short spells he has either been injured or less than er... impactful. Sadly I don't think we're ever going to see the player he could be as he seems to be made of glass.

I'm not sure we'd need to employ actual homeopaths. Couldn't we simply use a chair which they once sat in and make used of their escence ?Prufrock wrote:KeyserSoze wrote:They employing fecking homeopaths or summat.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Treatment table
These things are sent to try us. We'll show what we're made of and come out fighting. Some really lousy luck lately, but we'll get over it.

summat happened long before that - we were crippled with injuries long before he left... we had about 9 broken legs in the space of three days...*boltonboris wrote:Coyle left a fvckin JuJu curse when he left
