Well this is disappointing if true.

Thought it had gone a bit quiet on the Eidur front. Get used to disappointment my friend.
Alternatively, expect nothing but failure as I do, and then you can't be disappointed! :hang:

I can't say I'm too disappointed by this. He scored a couple of important goals, but his legs have clearly gone. By all accounts, he has gambled away most of the money he has earned and with a young family, one last pay day could see them secure financially. I wish him well, but no tears from me.

Exactly this.

It's a shame, but we got a small cameo from him and he never let anyone down. If there's a big cheque somewhere who can blame him

But this fckg thread Plymouth .... this thread.

Shame that. His experience and class could have been a bonus this season.

Indeed. Who better for Clough to learn from? Still, it was wonderful to see him back whilst it lasted.

Yup, and if we partnered him with Ricketts in a 4-4-2 I would buy a season ticket.

I see what Plymouth has done here. He's surreptitiously made this a generic transfer thread so he can claim other clubs transfers!

more not signing someone news...

(allegedly)

Icelandic striker Alfred Finnbogason has been given the green light by Real Sociedad to head out on loan next season but Spanish sports paper AS has reported he is close to sealing a temporary switch to Greek side PAOK in a deal worth one million euros, with an option to make it permanent. The paper reports finances were again the stumbling block with Wanderers offering to cover a percentage of the 26-year-old's salary.
