You have to be kidding? That was the most embarrassing television I think I've ever seen! WTF were those league tables? And the audience? It looked like a care in the community day out. Some producer needs to be holding his head in his hands tonight.

What's with this trend - top gear, sky sports and this -having morons stood around the studio? It adds nothing to the programme and who in their right mind would want to be there?
On the upside at least it's on before my bedtime

God can these highlights not be given to Sky? At least they'd do a proper job.

I'm praying Asa's post is Dirty Desmond's lot doing some market research. I'm still struggling to comprehend that some TV exec thought that format was the way to go.

If anyone goes on other Championship sites I'd expect to see identical first posts.
I'd have thought the terrific failure of the Clarence Balding Wimbledon show would have guided these morons.
Obviously not.

Being channel 5 I'm surprised it wasn't full of grossly overweight, coke supping, kebab eating, benefit claimants!

... & the very estimable, impossible to underrate Kelly Dalglish there to.
I wonder how she got on in her career ?

Think it's because she's called Kelly and Graham Kelly was the former FA Chief Executive.bobo the clown wrote:... & the very estimable, impossible to underrate Kelly Dalglish there to.

Re: BBC one football league show or Channel 5's version?
Perhaps the most uncomfortable TV watching since the era of Extras and Curb Your Enthusiasm... And they were *supposed* to be uncomfortable. There's so much wrong with it that it's difficult to know where to start. Like most stuff on Five it's as if it's been made by GSCE Media Studies pupils high on E-numbers. The tragicomic attempt to recreate the Soccer AM template that died on its arse five years ago makes one yearn for the rather staid, sub-MOTD version the BBC did. Different is not necessarily better.

Those tables!!! Come on, be honest C5, you couldn't afford the graphics, so decided on those swivelling boards. Mind you, I did laugh out loud. Twitter hated it, Paddy Mcguinness asking why the Top Gear/Jeremy Kyle audience mix.

Quite enjoyed Manish presenting on BBC last season. I could deal with this one if they at least showed the games in league order ![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
I'll be waiting for highlights on the offish youtube.

Good one bruce, that's the one and only plus I was looking for. How did someone sign that format off after rehearsals (ok no rehearsals).Bruce Rioja wrote:Still, it didn't have Clarridge on it, so, you know........
